no game is a given with our redskins. remember what Pete Kendall did in last years Rams game? to me, a win is a win. ill take them any way they come. and good morning Malcolm
Good morning sir.

I think we take the Rams, but we CANNOT keep getting burned on third down.

We said this last season, but...different circumstances. We're better than last year and they obviously went the other direction!
I think we should be able to win by at least three TDs... but I thought that last season against them also. They looked horrible against Seattle yesterday, so let's hope some of the momentum the Skins built with that last drive carries over.
Careful, I'm trying to remember the last time we scored three touchdowns against anyone. I know you said "should" but I'm going to "stay medium" remembering last year when the Rams came to town. I never take any NFL team for granted.

The Skins wont easily beat anyone this year. They will get wins but they will be close games.

I just hope we don't take these guys for granted. We all know what happened last year. If we don't play well STL can beat us.

Last year Game 1, lost to Giants 16-7.

This year Game 1, lost to Giants 23-17. Scored more points, lost by fewer...same team, same location. Stop overreacting.

:D

I doubt it.

We've had trouble beating the teams we should beat and we haven't played as well as we should at home. Also, St. Louis beat us here last season, so they've got to believe that they can do it again.

Someone on here used the term "fecal storm". That's exactly what we'll have in D.C. if the Skins lose the Rams game and, trust me, whether or not you think it is the fault of Zorn and/or Campbell, it will be blowing directly on them. I know it's only September but fecal storm season could come early this year. Let's hope not.

We will beat STL, but we won't blow them out. We haven't blown a team out in quite some time and seem to play to the level of our competition.
Yea I agree, but in the NFL you can't take teams for granted. I just want to see an easy win for once... It's like every game is a grind for us no matter who we play.
I agree! Which is why the Redskins should come into this game angry! Pissed off! Frustrated! And Pumped up! Then proceed to kick the crap out of St. Louis! I mean, run up the freakin score! Make it 35-0 by the end of the half. Our first play at the start of the 3rd quarter needs to be a play action bomb to Moss! Just keep running it up! When St. Louis gets the ball back blitz both corners. Rogers can't catch but he can hit! When its 3rd and long tell Haynesworth to bellflop that SOB that calls himself a quarterback. PISS THEM OFF!!! Work out all that agression and anger that New York gave us onto poor poor St. Louis......................................And then shake their hands afterwards and say "good game".

I mean, thats what teams like St. Louis are for. Thats why the league expanded to 32 teams, so there would be more of those teams. And we need to take advantage of that.

You are correct about the Skins winning but I think it will be more like
Skins 17
Rams 13
After watching our game for the second time, I noticed that we just had simple mistakes that will be corrected. Don't give up just yet the giants are a real good team, jc has to get his mechanics right, holding the ball low is just dumb. Hey we started out 0-1 last yr. It's a long season we should be fine.
The only way to easily beat a team or surely win a game vs. a bad team is to have solid D & O lines. If you consistently win the battles at the line of scrimmage then you can confidently say you can beat a lesser talented team.

After our performance I highly doubt you can say for sure that we can go about beating teams worse than us.

Save your hopes and dreams for your next trip to Disneyworld...it's a real world we live in. Let's witness these things first before we believe they will happen.

Third and 7 at thier own 10, the coaching staff showed a tremendous amount of "no-faith" in Campbell when they ran the ball with Portis. Not taking anything away from CP, but those are the situations where you simply must trust your QB to get it done. And they did not do that.
