Maybe I am being a naive homer but I think that after this season Snyder finally will respond to the decade long criticism he's endured and make a philosophical change. He's going big game hunting but he will be more of a hands off owner than he was with Schottenheimer or any of the puppets. I see a Gibbs like relationship without the Ceratto factor. He's going to let someone come in and actually run the football side of things completely.

For whatever we think of him, he's a marketing genius and he knows that right now, his product is severely tarnished. He's got to make some serious changes to improve that image and he's going to make those changes.

I always thought that DS could be one of the best owners in all of football. Why? Imagine a team that has the right organizational structure to build thru the draft but an owner not scared to spend a little $ every now and again to add in some key peices. What's better than that?

Right now though, I've got to side w/ Don Banks until we get VC out and some other competent person in.

It's not desirable at all. First of all going out and buying free agents DOESN'T WORK. Second they're other owners that will spend money too, it's not like everyone is going to flock here. Third who is going to come here after seeing how Zorn has been treated?

Well there are also a lot of assumptions about how Zorn was treated. One thing that is fact is that Zorn, thanks to Snyder and Cerrato, can now add to his resume head coach. Something he wasn't able to do before.

You haven't paid attention since the Spurrier experiment when we tried to win with Deion and Bruce Smith have you?

Just off the top of my head: Taylor, Cooley, Cartwright, Smoot, Bailey (traded for Portis), Samuels, Dockery, Orakpo, Campbell, Rogers, Horton, Landry, McIntosh, Doughty, Blades, Montgomery, Golston, even Betts have all been great picks this decade.

Thomas, Kelly, Davis, Barnes, Mitchell, Tryon, Moore, Brennan, Rinehart, Jarmon (supp draft) and probably some others could be solid contributors in the future.

Sure we paid for Haynesworth and Hall this offseason and brought back Dockery, but they have not been busts like Dana Stubblefield. Big Al is not playing up to his potential but Hall has been great and made some huge plays this year.

Unsucessful Head Coach.

A bit like the guy who piloted the Hindenburg, no?

I feel that the redskins are desirable in only one way. That is that we are the worst built franchise for the future. All our money is invested in old declining players, and we have very very little young talent. I feel like some coaches would take our team as a challenge to take us and want to build us from the ground up into a winning franchise. I personally think that would be crazy though considering how hard it is to win in this league getting a superbowl would be hard enough with the right pieces in place as it is.

I'm not so sure if he'll want to remember he was a head coach this year just like Ryan Leaf might not put NFL Quarterback on his resume :silly: jp

sounds like this comes from experience? and all coaches have giant egos. someone is going to want to come here, and be the hero that fixes this mess

Do they even look at your resume after being released from Prison.

Maybe if you bribe the hiring official with a few Percocet..?
