I had been looking up Redskins info on the web since about 2004, and then around March of '05 I realized I wished there was a site to talk Redskins with my fellow fans. Well, I looked on google and after I checked out the ES board, I was like it's ok but doesn't have that smaller, more family type feel to it, and the next result was the 'Path and I liked it immediately so it's become my main board since then.

I think that they did something in 2004 that got rid of my old account. If you notice even Matty's join date is Feb 2004, but the forum dates back to 1999. I could be wrong though.

The Warpath originated in '99 on Yahoo. Eventually I moved it to it's own server and in 2004 we had a big site crash. Lost everything. I've since learned some valuable lessons such as keeping regular backups.

Cool thread. And yeah, ES seems like a land of clutter. I've only visited there a few times. Kind of a trainwreck.

Early on in the 2006 season I was looking for a cool Redskins logo to use for my fantasy football avatar. Somehow I stumbled on this site. I ended up reading posts for about an hour. Most of you know that I lived in Florida for about 8 years and went to school down there. Obviously Gainesville, FL is a town bereft of Redskins fans. Finding The Warpath was (is) a great way for me to get my Skins fix.

Great place, definitely one of my favorite hobbies is being on this site.

I ran a google search for Redskins salary cap data and the information here popped up. It was first rate and accurate, and then I read the forums. Been here ever since.
