SnC, sometimes that can be a blessing in disguise....
I'll try to give you some play by play, but you may be better of going Internet Radio. |
You've got to feel for Brunell. I don't think he ever envisisioned coming here and stinking it up so bad. If I were him & I had another bad game I would go to coach Gibbs and ask him to bench me. I just think this is a blessing in disguise for Ramsey. With everything that happened to him last year (foot injury, all the hit's,) I'm glad he's holding a clipboard. My point is that although Ramsey's healthy Brunnel in his 40's-bad hammy & all, could still scramble better than him. Avoiding the kind of hit's that Ramsey sustained all last year. I think if he was in there, defenses would be blitzing us that much more. IMO Ramsey has way to much courage for his own good. I think that's why Gibbs didn't get rid of him this offseason. You can't teach that, that's just something you either have or you don't. And I think all the great QB's have that. With the way the lines playing I don't think Gibbs want to see him in there getting killed.

I remember Ramsey scrambling for a critical first down last season.....he ain't that stiff, he was a victim of last seasons scheme.
