the number of pills he takes daily to keep up that size...it was upwards of 100+.

That's just insane.

I'd feel more comfortable with Dez White than James Thrash =p

So apparently the Dolphins are close to finalizing a deal for Boston, but does anyone know what the Chargers are getting in return?

I believe the Fins are offering half an egg salad sandwich on rye, with no pickle ... Chargers trying to talk them into upgrading their offer to pastrami on sliced sourdough and a bag of chips.

I've heard a third round pick in the news, which seems kind of low, for a potential big play reciever. I just hope somebody other than the eagles gets him. I kind of surprised the eagles havn't gone after him.

Daseal 03-12-2004 09:50 PM

A 3rd round pick is a steal. If he can get to a coach that can control him and make him straighten up he is definitly a force to be reckoned with. I don't think Wonstat is that coach though.

skinsfanthru&thru 03-13-2004 01:51 AM

I don't know if someone brought up this point or not but the WR coach Boston had so much success under is now in the same position with Miami and think that'd be a good fit for him lined up across from an up and coming player in Chris Chambers. I know my parents would love it as they r die hard fin fans but I just hope its anyone other than phili.

SittingBull 03-13-2004 02:42 AM

I think the Eagles are focusing on their new secret play where Mcnabb throws a hail mary sprints 50 yards and catches it himself.

Daseal 03-13-2004 07:56 AM

hahaha, Sitting!

Philly is probably figuring TO is making the Ravens want to get rid of him and they'll end up with him anyway! Hope they do and he brings his cancer to the Iggles!!!! Glad we didn't go for him!!!

MTK 03-14-2004 01:02 PM

trouble is who's going to throw him the ball in Miami? Their QB situation is a joke, Feely and Fiedler? Good luck.

skinsfanthru&thru 03-14-2004 01:47 PM

I think feeley could be decent and everyone seems to forget that fiedler has the best winning percentage of any active qb and all this w/o a decent group of receivers. I think with the addition of a player of Boston's skill, and his head is on straight, that player can make an average qb and make him better. Plus it wouldn't suprise me to see them try to move up a bit on draft day to get Rothesberger or however u spell his name or the more likely pick of moving up and drafting Philip Rivers. They might also try to pick up Kurt Warner next year or over the summer.

Carnage 03-14-2004 02:25 PM

Miami must know something I don't, cause Feeley never impressed me. He sat behind a Detmer for goodness sake.

MTK 03-14-2004 02:54 PM

Point is neither Feely or Fiedler are guys that are gonna light up the scoreboard. Fiedler has won his share of ballgames, but he hasn't been able to get the phins over the hump. I'm really surprised they didn't make a play for someone like Garcia.

Daseal 03-14-2004 03:39 PM

When you have Ricky you just need someone who can make the easy throws. Let Chambers/Boston use their bodies!
