I'd love to visit just about any country. North Korea might be a little tricky. I've been to Germany, France, Spain, Switzerland and Italy. For some reason I don't count Canada or Mexico as other countries.

As far as the US, yeah Alaska would be a lot of fun. I've been to most of the touristy places in the lower 48 from Seattle to San Diego, Miami to Bangor and everywhere in between. My dad loved to travel when we were kids and I kept at it once I got older. I'd really like to one day visit Cheyenne Mtn and show my kids what I used to do in the military.
I heard NORAD is now closed to tours, but maybe you could work something out. :)

Pretty much every major US city would be on my list. As far as traveling outside of the US, am I alone in not having too much interest? Only because of the travel time involved, mainly.

^ I understand Matty. But IMO when you walk off of the LONG plane flight and you are in, say, Kathmandu, it is worth it.

Yeah I understand. Don't get me wrong I'm not going to let a long plane ride stop me from traveling, it's probably something I'll do later in life though.

I agree when I hear of 12 hour flights my mind begins to race as to how the hell do you sit for 12 hours on a plane, it sounds like Chinese torture to me!

You pay extra for an economy plus seat and you show up sleepy. Sleep (-4 hours), watch a in flight movie and shows (-3 hours), read (-2 hours), listen to music and play psp/phone/ds games (-2 hour).....it's like going camping except you can't move too much.

Maybe a dumb question but when you're on a 12 hour flight, you're not on a cramped little 737 are you?

economy plus is well worth the few dollars extra, I tried it one time, and since have done it every time I have to fly. 5" or whatever doesn't sound like much, but the difference between my knees hitting the seat in front and not makes the flight a ton better.

Abroad, I would like to go to Asia someday, not sure which part. Australia would be a nice to do, if I ever can. Moscow would be cool as well.

As I said in the other thread, in the US, I just like to drive, the destination is usually an afterthought.

My buddy has gone to China a few times and each time he said he sat i na normal airplane seat you would take from B-more to Boston. Awful.

He had an interview in hong Kong but didn't want his job to know, left early on Friday afternoon came back Monday morning and was back at his desk at 9 am. He looked hell.

No, atleast a 767, or 777. or an airbus. If you look online at Thailands airline, they have a plane and advertise a queen bed suite. Hilarious (expensive as HELL)

EDIT: I went to look for a pic to post, but now can't find it. My co-worker is from Thailand and showed it to me when he flew there last year. Would be an awesome way to fly
