Re: I'm Tired of Losing

the guy was off his rocker but Sat. night Ihad a mini melt down like this as well. My wife said "my dad asked how matt like the game last week?" and my BIL said "I bet we had got a call if the Skins had won."

That made me so mad I am tired of listening to these dumb a$$ Raven fans they are so annoying. It was preseason folks and to say I would have called them to rub it in if the Skins had won, yeah right.

That was the straw that broke the camels back and my wife had to hear it. That whole week before at week they were talking crap as well Iwas not going to hear it in my own house, NO WAY! Of course all it got me was a taste Solid Snake's sex life but dammit I was heard! =)

I'm not talking little kids and a pregnant wife. They're not even for a husband/wife or father and teenage son.

I can't see the video cause I'm at work but clearly this guy from the way it sounds needed;

BarBuddy.com, the place to go when your buddy won't show. Don't go to a bar and act like an ass, take a buddy who will make sure you have a blast. When your friends wife won't let him go, take a buddy who will surely show. When drinking alone will make you a whino, take a buddy so your not a rhino. BarBuddy.com.... where buddies go when their friends won't show.

That there is trade marked, not to be used with out expressed written permission of SBXVII. :)

Should have been able to witness what the experience was like when people were allowed to bring their own spirits to the games.

My Grandaughter asked me once "Pop Pop, do they have to use that kind of language?" She's had no desire to attend another game with me. So you're right irish, depending on the venue, the NFL experience is not for families anymore.

Totally agree with you on that one. Most stadiums don't enforce the two beers minimum rule, and already intoxicated fans should not be allowed in to games.
NFL games are not for families.
Yes it is. That's why there are rules in place at stadiums, but most places simply don't enforce them. There is nothing wrong with cheering for your team, but some take it too far (like the Phillies fan that vomited on the man and his daughter). I can't excuse extremely rude behavior because one sees an NFL game not family oriented. You go to games to have fun, root for your squad, make friends with fellow fans, not get drunk and scream and shout obscenities in front of young onlookers. Take a look at the Redskins fan code of conduct.
Fan Code of Conduct

The NFL is committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for all fans, both in the stadium and in the parking lot. We want all fans attending our games to enjoy the experience in a responsible fashion. When attending a game you are required to refrain from the following behaviors:

* Behavior that is unruly, disruptive, or illegal in nature
* Intoxication or other signs of alcohol impairment that results in irresponsible behavior
* Foul or offensive language or obscene gestures
* Interference with the progress of the game (including throwing objects onto the field)
* Failing to follow instructions of stadium personnel
* Verbal or physical harassment of opposing team fans

Event patrons are responsible for their conduct as well as the conduct of their guests and/or persons occupying their seats. Stadium staff will promptly intervene to support an environment where event patrons, their guests, and other fans can enjoy the event free from the above behavior. Event patrons and guests who violate these provisions will be subject to ejection without refund and potential loss of ticket privileges for future games.

We thank you for adhering to our Fan Code of Conduct. Let’s all enjoy the game!

My advice to you Art is just get the premium seating tickets. I get nosebleed seats at Ford Field, and those are nice, and the folks are pretty nice. THe Ford's made damn sure drunks aren't tolerated to give it a family atmosphere, but alas it looks like Fedex is more like the Silverdome, which they just leased. It actually helped when they brought the team back downtown. They really need to ban the booze from being sold in the stadiums, but of course corporate America won't allow that.
Yeah right...(roll eyes)

This guy is a tool. But those of you w/ familes and young children you should know not to take them to an NFL game. And if you do and they hear some bad language then so be it. Today children can turn on You Tube or download music on I tunes that has worse language then an NFL game. No big deal.

Honestly at this point point a nice 50 inch HD TV and my couch sounds better then actually going to a game. I go to one game a year and always ask myself why afterwords.

The kind of behavior of which you speak is what makes "some" situations unplesant for "some" young people. I say "some" because often I witness young people being the culprit in many instances. There are some people who don't seem to be affected by foul-mouthed people, while others are.

I'm all for rooting for the team and having fun doing it, but when the language becomes an endless tirade of profanity laced expressions, it ceases to be fun anymore. It's not condusive to the experience of which the games were intended to provide. In most instances we're talking about people who know no other way to express themselves. Some come from environments where that form of expression is commonplace.

But somehow people got just as shit-faced at RFK, but your pregnant wife and kids could still come.
