Perhaps they intend to bring Keiland back. But he wasn't getting it done as a blocker.
Practice squad if he clears waivers |
Shoot Banks doesn't weigh the same as me wet, and I am considered a light weight. Killer speed, but if the kid gets nailed FUMBLE!!!!!!
You can't hit what you cannot catch. Speed Kills. Desean Jackson falls in this catergory to. |

I've been saying that to him for a while now. How often do you see DeSean Jackson, Santana Moss, or Steve Smith or Darren Sproles for that matter get rocked??? |

How did he have all those fumbles in the preseason if he's too fast to get rocked? Face it he has ball security issues. I'm not worried about him getting hit after breaking a long one, I'm worried about him catching the ball, misjudging the distance between the guy and him, getting rocked, and fumbling. You can't ignore his fumbles in the preseason. |
Re: Banks back on active roster; Keiland Williams to be cut
Look this move helps out for 2 reasons.
1- If you can't get the big tall WR you want (VJ) to help the team then ya gotta go with picking up a short WR. 2- Due to the fact that McNabb likes to throw dirt balls the team decided to take advantage of this and increase the chances of receptions by picking up/pramoting a WR who is (although normally considered virtically challenged) closer to the dirt. |

1) I'm not ignoring his fumbles. 2) I never said he's too fast to get rocked and a few of his fumbles came on muffing punts. 3) You guys talk as if he fumbles everytime he touches the ball. 4) Ball security can be taught. Ask Tiki Barber. |
Re: Banks back on active roster; Keiland Williams to be cut
He does fumble everytime. Fast forward to 0:35. Where's the ball? Oh that's right. Banks fumbled it

Re: Banks back on active roster; Keiland Williams to be cut
A few years ago during the Gibbs II area there was another guy who was this same kind of threat with great speed but fumble issues... what was his name? I remember even him doing what we were afraid of; I believe he returned a punt for a TD and then in the next game he fumbled twice.

All those guys are bigger than him. Jaskson is 5'10" and moss is 200lbs, Banks is 5'6" 150 lbs. |

We're obviously looking for a spark, so I say why not give Banks a try on punt returns at the least.
