Re: As Is 2 Round Dream Draft
SS-Just curious, based on your additional review of Locker, what did you see that offsets the concerns about his accuracy and decision making? Also, why (if you do) do you feel his upside is higher than Newton's? Not advocating for Newton, just curious..
Here's mine- Round One-Robert Quinn (UNC)-beast of a pass rushing OLB. Paired with 'Rak we can cause major issues for opponents passing games.. Round Two-Colin Kaepernick (Nevada)-Kid is as big as Newton but faster, 4 year starter, has good accuracy, solid arm strength, good intangibles.. I'm not a huge fan of 2nd round QB because of the lack of history of success but he's very close to a Roethlisberger with more speed. |
Re: As Is 2 Round Dream Draft
I have a hard time answering these arbitrarily restricted questions. I can't see how we get out of the first round without making move or taking a QB/Lineman. I know we need LB help but it isn't our biggest need by far.
Plus it's so hard to do this before free agency. |
Re: As Is 2 Round Dream Draft
Round#1- QB Ryan Mallett Round#2- DeMarcus Love,OT
1st: QB- Jake Locker (won't be pissed if we take Cam Newton) Either way we need to take a potential franchise QB.
2nd: WR- Justin Blackmon or Jon Baldwin (if they are gone then a DL like Cameron Heyward/Allen Bailey or a LB like Ryan Kerrigan)
Blackmon is staying at OSU |

that stinks. Then I would go for the Pitt WR or Floyd from Notre Dame in the 2nd. |
Alex Henery K NE. We ll be set 4 15 years.

Smoot already said it doesn't look like the Skins will address the WR position through the draft. At least in the first couple rounds. I can see us getting a later round project. To many other areas of need to spend a high pick on a skill position like WR. |

Plus it's so hard to do this before free agency.
I feel that we'll probably fill a few holes in FA which could change my outlook on a Dream Draft. To be honest, I don't think I like any player in this draft that we might get at #10 enough to draft him there. So, my ideal draft would include trading down, perhaps with Miami, if they would like to move up to take a QB they like. Maybe we could still get Von Miller (LOLB) at #15 and Stephan Wisniewski (C/G) in Round 2. Plus we could possibly get a 3rd Round pick in the hypothetical trade with Miami. |
Re: As Is 2 Round Dream Draft
1st- Von Miller or if he falls Robert Quinn
2nd- Mikel Leshoure RB |

Okay...0 for 2. Then I default to "then a DL like Cameron Heyward/Allen Bailey or a LB like Ryan Kerrigan" in the 2nd Round. Still want Locker in the 1st....or Newton if we vibes well with the Shannys. |
Re: As Is 2 Round Dream Draft
I'm going to catch grief for this, but here it goes;
1st rd Cameron Heyward (DE/DT) OSU 2nd rd Stefen Wisniewski (C) Penn St Buck[eye][Red]Skin! |
