I think what Shanny is saying, is this ...Locker is 2nd round talent, just like the Snake.
I wouldn't take Locker even in the 2nd round. His bowl game against Nebraska was ridiculous in terms of the broadcast team always fawning over him. His passing game sucked rocks. Every time I caught Washington on TV the past two years to see what the hubub was about, the guy's throws were wobbly alot of the time and his INTs were dumb. Yeah he can run, but he won't be able to do that as effectively in the NFL. I know I keep repeating myself, but Locker is probably the most overrated NFL prospect in recent memory. Jake Plummer performed way better at ASU than Locker did at Washington. Please Skins FO, for the love of god continue building the O line!!!!!! We could get Cam Newton in the first round and he would probably be average behind our crappy line, so why waste a pick on Locker.

Really? I can understand you not wanting to draft Locker but you're talking about a guy in Plummer that going into his final college year had 0 TD passes and 9 Int's in 11 games the year before. It doesn't get much worse then that. On top of that Plummer posted completion percentages at the collegiate level of 51%, 54%, and 57% respectively. He also only had more then 0 rushing yards in one year and that turned into a whooping 63 yards total. If anything Locker is an exponentially better pro prospect then Plummer, even with his recent regression.

So what you guys are admitting is Locker, Mallet, and Newton all suck and basically the team should pick either Ponder or Dalton, right? ;)

I agree ... Locker has NEVER looked good to me ... god help us if we draft that clown ... i'd rather see Cam Newton than Jake Locker .. and that's saying something
