The #1 pic only won because of their location and nothing else. You put time into what you did and did not get credit for that or as said earlier "OK, your starting to get a little scary." LOL

I have to give credit to the idea of the #1 picture but what's funny is he is from Dallas, Oregon.

He took the picture in front of a "Welcome To Dallas" sign that is located in Dallas, Oregon, no where near his implied location of Dallas, Texas. If you look at the sign you'll see pine trees which are not prevelent around the Dallas, Texas area but are in Oregon...Lol.

It's definitely sour grapes for me to even mention that but it's also decieving on his, especially with the title of "Hating Dallas In Dallas"

Dear Uncle Skins, Im sorry you feel that our pic was in some way deceiving. That was not our intention. Our intention was to take a pic that was both creative, fun and that showed our love for our beloved Redskins. I grew up in Dallas 'Oregon' for most of my childhood, so 'Hating Dalllas in Dallas" is exactly what we did for years. I also believe my kids played more of a role in winning than did some welcome to Dallas sign but thats just my opinion. In closing to be honest with you I thought your pic was gonna get drafted first overall and like you, was shocked it didn't make it in the top 5. Perhaps when I attend my first home game I can buy you and Betsy Ross a beer. You guys ran one hell of a campaign. HTTR!

Don't worry, man. I loved the photo and didn't feel it was deceiving even AFTER Uncle Skins said it was in Oregon. It's in a place called Dallas, just like the caption said. Still a great photo.

If people had read, it does say "I'm a Virginian by birth currently residing on the [B]west coast...[/B]"


I'm also shocked that Uncle Skins did not place higher because he probably put the most time and effort into his submission. I would have voted for him if I were on F-book.

Lol, Welcome to the board, I wasn't expecting you to show up : ) Congratulations too as I've mentioned before.

I prefaced my statement by saying it was sour grapes on my part so please don't take offense. I recognize completely that I was bested.

I did come away with though with the assumption that the location of the picture was Dallas, Texas. Any person who sees that picture is walking away with that same impression.

When I found it was in Dallas, Oregon the picture lost some luster because the brazen fan aspect was taken away. Obviously your kids fervent Redskins fandom is enough on its own. It's great too that they'll have such a great Redskins memory by taking the trip to Training Camp and doing all the Skins related stuff.

Congratulations again, and I'll take you up on that beer offer because I need to drown my sorrows and my sour grapes : )

Hope both of you stick around. Especially for the game day threads, they're insane, literally. :D

I never even open them until Monday because they're so crazy. I try not to get caught up in the emotional rollercoaster that goes on here during the games. They're hilarious to read after the game's over though!
