For a guy his size Gardner has good speed. Edwards is faster though. Let's not forget Edwards was in the running for the heisman this year after about 4-5 games. He slowly dwindled away. I think both receivers are good, but I think the FA push (1-2 of em) and resignings/restructurings will really shape how we draft.

gimme mike williams, hes got the size and hands that the skins are lacking, coles should have had 100 catches this year, but he had butter fingers most of the year and dropped a lot of balls, I'm not concerned with speed so much but someone who has the hands to catch every ball which in turn will help ramsey build his confidence

You might not be concerned with speed, but I think that will be a top priority for Gibbs and the staff when they look to upgrade the WR corps.

I think speed is a big reason we won't see Gardner and McCants back and instead see more of Jacobs and Thrash.

Williams should definetly go before Edwards. I think Kiper tokes on the pipe a little much. As far as Porter goes, no way. Very overrated, regardless where he is from.

Skip the WRs. Grab some linemen.

Offense or defense?

alot of mock drafts differ on where the two WRs will go on the draft... but one seems to be available by our pick...

with our no. 1 receiver with injury concerns every year, 50/50's play, and Jacob's tbd impact, i'm not so sure why receiver isn't a priority for the skins. if coles was 100 percent healthy i'd be content to leave the position alone... but such is not the case.

sure, drafting another receiver adds yet another inexperienced wideout, but we'd be gambling on the instant impact that many rookies had this past season. all of the wideouts who had good years as rookies this past year were all drafted high (williams, clayton, evans). you can find a few diamonds in the rough (colbert), but the higher percentage of success in found in round 1.
