Yeah, I'd prefer they didn't kill the animals either, but it'd be a logistical nightmare to catch them and figure out where to transport them, as well as where they'd stay. Whomever said human life is more important than animal life, well they were right. Sucks but that's the way its gotta be. |

I back home in Ohio for a few days,and this farm is literally 15 miles down I 70 from me. I understand the authorities were forced to put these animals down for public safety, but the Columbus Zoo operates an exotic animal farm not more than 25 miles from here.
The nut job owner of the farm, Mr Thompson is well aquainted with local and federal law enforcement agencies. In fact just two weeks above was released from federal prison. Some here think that it may not be suicide, but the work of animal rights activists. The theory is they released Mr Thompson's animals then killed him. |

No....I do not either.
It is amazing how often animals pay the price with their lives for mans stupidity....generally without much afterthought. It is just a shame this guy could only lose his life once. |
