Although the guy went too far, F better that think they can act like that anywhere. I've seen people say some screwed up stuff to people working in the fast food and services industries. And IMO they do that because they think they are "better" than others. People just need to learn how to act.

I don't blame that guy for one second. I would also have to say that i find it extremely unlikely that a jury will convict that guy. He was physically assaulted first, and then when the women jumped the counter, he was acting in self defense. They could have been coming at him with a knife or a gun.

I don't think that beating with a metal pole was over-kill either. It was make-due with whatever the guy had laying around. He was trying to tell them to stay down. If he let one of them up, he could have been caught with a knife or a shank or something. The guy was 100% within his rights.

They may be kicking him or whatever. I dont see a thing wrong with what he did.

Lets just think for a second if it were two men who jumped the counter. Would those who thinks he was in the wrong still feel the same way?

What if the cashier was a woman? And she did the beat down. People would be praising her.

I think he did what he had to do because two nutjobs just verbally berated him, slapped him in the face and when he tried to get away they jumped the counter and came after him. I say he did what he had to do.

Exactly. To me, he stops, and something happens on the ground that makes him continue. You don't know anything about those two women. Are they on drugs? Do they have weapons. If I have a metal rod, and you're moving your hands towards your waist, you get another whack. Shut up, stop moving, and wait for the ambulance.

Or maybe this guy was just a nut job who lost his cool and took a situation from bad to worse?

It's ok for this convicted criminal to continuously beat two women lying on the floor with fractured skulls...but if this was a cop (even an off-duty one), plenty here would be up in arms in protest.

Dude went too far. Way too far

Your right but those are 2 totally different circumstances.A cop would have a gun and probably would have shot the bitches
Yeah I think the guy went too far,do I feel sorry for the women,no.I do think he will be convicted for something

That's why I threw in off-duty, as in he's not carrying a gun.

And I actually wouldn't be surprised if he did have a gun, I mean he had served time in prison for shooting one

Re: McDonald's Cashier Loses It

Im sorry but this guy was in the right. He was verbally attacked, then physically attacked and when he tried to escape the situation he was pursued by a lunatic and her friend. She and her friend were crazy enough to slap a cashier and then chase after him. who knows what they were capable of. He was backed into a corner and fought back. He didnt have that long to think he just reacted to being assaulted. Hell, the whole video is less than 2 minutes long. At what point did he "go to far"? Was it violent? yes! Was it "Going to far". Hell No!

I stand by what I said earlier. Had it been a woman cashier everybody would be praising her. Had it been two men who attacked a cashier (male or female) everybody would be saying they got what they deserved.

I disagree. If an off-duty officer was physically assaulted, I don't think we'd see anyone having an issue with this. I agree, it was two minutes long and we have no idea what was happening on the floor. They were the the ones who both initiated and continued the conflict.

I hope at the end of the day we can at least agree there's plenty of blame to go around in this. I don't see anyone here being "right".

I agree with you SS . I hope the women have to clean floors in MCD's for two years ( Comm. Service ) and the guy needs anger managment classes , maybe if he had a clean record I would give him a pass for a controling them , but he went too far IMO . Maybe going to jail for a little time would help them all out .
