Weren't they offered a 3rd rounder for him though? In the end this team has turned $40 mil, a 2nd rounder, and a 4th rounder into two 6th rounders and a 5th rounder.
That was the word earlier last season. They tried to make it work, granted opinions differ on that, but when it was clear he wasn't gonna play for us, they got something for him.

My main point is that Allen & Shanny would've never been part of that signing, but they did what they could to move on.

I'm reporting that reporters will start speculating the Eagles interest in Albert Haynesworth all because he's friendly with Howard Mudd.

Iggles are pretty far down the line on waiver wire right? Are waiver claims decided by draft order or by current record?

Speaking of the Iggles, I think we may have dodged the bullet a bit by not signing Cullen Jenkins. I was watching the game last night and they could not generate much of a pass rush against a so-so offensive line.

Fat Albert is a lousy bum and I agree he doesn't deserve another thread beyond this one.

No one is going to claim him, unless they want to spend 700K+.

I would be a little surprised if a team signed him.

He's out of shape, he constantly injured and he's really only had a couple of dominant seasons. One of the most overrated players ever. Ocho Cinco is probably next.

Absolutely!!! Talent and physical ability were there but he's among the laziest ever to put on pads.

We should sign him for $41 mil.

Well the reason he got cut was because of his attitude. I'm sure the times he didn't start this year was because of that. I was watching the Pats/Giants game and he actually looked okay.

Frankly, he lasted about a month longer than I expected he would in New England...

That was his final play as a Patriot.

But ... but ... but ... the Patriots are brilliant and never make personnel mistakes!

They are not, but they don't keep players around to teach them a lesson.
