Apparently, people are confuddling moral character with on-field performance, even though failure in one area has barely anything to do with the other. Both players, despite their stupidity in putting themselves in this situation, most likely DID NOT skimp on putting the work in with the coaches and the like, otherwise, they wouldn't be playing so well this season.
You're looking too far into it. Sure they put in the work, I'm pretty sure anybody outside of the 100 million dollar man himself would..

Glazer is reporting that it's THREE Redskins that tested positive for recreational drugs.
I hope they suspend them now since we're in a throw away year.
Wont matter that much anyways....need to protect next year.
Please suspend them now if this is true. Whether it's pot or juice, they're idiots either way. Shanny needs to have a come to Jesus conversation with these guys - either they want to act like professionals or they will be underachievers forever. The silver lining - we should be able to re-sign Davis to a modest deal if he's coming off a suspension.

People of high moral character usually don't get themselves suspended a quarter of the season for testing positive for illegal drugs.

Well just to fair, and if it is indeed weed, the lockout drug testing rules were vague and may have been misintrepreted. That said...

The shame of it is that this is the only thing "POSITIVE" thing that has happened in the past month.

Is there a link to an article on this? Looked it up on Yahoo and couldn't find it.

As I was told this week they face potential fines, not a suspension
Considering that off-field activities, for the most part, have absolutely no relevance to on-field performance, your statement makes no sense.
I wasn't referring to any off-field issues. His play alone warrants that statement.

No wonder they can't execute the offense.

They are subject to fines, not suspensions.. Got to be smarter than that thought.

Trent Williams theme song. Sing lyrics with beat above.

I was gonna block that guy until I got high
I was gonna get up and find the huddle but then I got high
my blocking is still messed up and I know why
- cause I got high
- cause I got high
- cause I got high

I was gonna go to film study before I got high
I coulda slept and I coulda passed but I got high
I am tanking it until next season and I know why
- cause I got high
- cause I got high
- cause I got high

I was gonna go to off-season workouts but then I got high
I just got a new contract but I got high
now I'm missing blocks and I know why
- cause I got high
- cause I got high
- cause I got high

I was gonna go to practice before I got high
I was gonna pay my Lamborghini payments but then I got high
they took my whole paycheck and I know why
- cause I got high
- cause I got high
- cause I got high

I was gonna run block on the play but I was high
I was gonna pull right and block somebody but I was high
Now I am a draft bust - because I got high
- cause I got high
- cause I got high
- cause I got high
