A grade 3 sprain means he's done for the year, if accurate. Can't play without an MCL.
Unless you use steroids for healing and marijuana and heroin to promote healing.

Re: Trent Williams Injury Update

Trent Williams needs to sit out for a few weeks. Hell, what difference would it make if Shanahan placed him on IR today or tomorrow? Does it matter if he plays again this season? He played well this year. I personally want to see what reserve lineman can step in Trent Williams' place.

Re: Trent Williams Injury Update

Trent just has bad luck with his leg injuries, whether its MCL's or ankles.

I would consider drafting a LT in the first couple of rounds and moving Trent to the right side next year where he's more comfortable.

I think we're supposed to go. Hahahahaha, but for some reason I can't. You did get the memo that the drug used was a recreational drug.........right? It's just a technicality in terms but usually they are refering to pot, marijuana, cocain, heroin, meth, crack......those kinds of drugs. ;)

Re: Trent Williams Injury Update

Worse case for Trent after stopping his recreational drug use is the munchies but that might have caused him to gain more weight and put more stress on his knees.lol

Rest him for the remainder of the year.

Yeah, LT - 1st Round, QB - 2nd Round. :)

I want him to sit. the last thing we need is for him to gimp out there and tear his ACL. then we get to spend the whole offseason wondering if our LT will be ready in September.

Listening to Shanny's presser right now- Trent's MRI came back as just a grade 1 MCL sprain- not nearly as bad as a grade 3. That's a positive for sure. Maybe he misses a week, but certainly not a long term thing.

Hell no. QB 1st round (preferably RGIII) and then OL in the 3rd. I still think WR is a bigger priority than OL but I know I'm in the minority on that one.

That you are...over the past two week's we've seen the passing game improved when Rex had time and there was some accuracy. While I wouldn't mind picking up a good WR in free agency, i feel that if you fix the QB position and add depth to the o-line, our WR issues will be significantly less.
