Re: Another D.Hall Thread.
Look I bash Dhall all the time, but having said that, he's still a starting caliber corner in this league. So he's top 32, but not top 15 nor 184. Although that Jake Delhomme run and Gronkowski sideline stare were 184 worthy.

Re: Another D.Hall Thread.
Don't see Hall as one of the worst, but certainly not Top 15-17. He's #2 CB caliber IMO. Gives up way too much cushion (off-man) and can't recover the way he could a few years ago, also not physical enough to press, questionable tackling, questionable instincts. Without the top-end speed he had when he first came in....he's not the same guy.

Re: Another D.Hall Thread.
Hall is terrible. He's just been terrible for awhile and we forget what decent is like. He compensates a little for his general terribleness by gambling and making an occasional big play but overall he just isn't very good. He simply cannot cover consistently.

So basically I'm drinking the Kool Aid. Got it:)

Hungover for biggest job interview of his life? |

Next time I call in sick to work I'm going to use "flu-like symptoms".

The flu will definitely be making the rounds tomorrow for a lot of folks lol In fact I'm feeling a little sick to my stomach already |

I was only joking. I believe he was legitimately sick. But many players in the past-Cooley, Haynesworth, Gardner, Arrington-to name a few-were out with "flu like symptoms" that I know for a fact were hangovers. It's a common euphemism around the league |

I'm a Hall hatter.

Also glad to know Crawford was feeling cruddy last game because he didn't look as sharp as the previous two games. Really like him so far. |

You aren't the only one. |
Re: Another D.Hall Thread.
I might be drinking the Kool Aid, but I'd still rank Hall as a top 15-17 corner in this league. He's had his ups and downs, yes, but beyond the regular All Pro corners, I'm not convinced that DeAngelo Hall isn't a top 15 corner in this league.
 I've been over this numerous times about D. Hall and probably was D. Hall hatting before it was a hipster thing to do. He's consistently been rated one of the worst CBs in the NFL (even in Atlanta) and nothing has really changed. He's a gambler by nature and isn't somebody you can rely on. I've gone as far as broke down films and the TDs he's allowed so I'll refrain for now. :bdh: |
Hindsight is always 20/20. I don't recall anyone calling to extend Carlos everyone just complained about his drops his overall play not just his drops improved last year in SanFran. Dhall is far from great but he is a starter for us we have no better options out there for us right now, this will be addressed next year
always liked carlos, always said his game was tight. didnt like his mouth, but i understand why he was pissed. |

I was starting to get concerned, I think a guy like Crawford trying to make the team wouldn't pull something as stupid as going drinking the night before a game. Obviously it's different if it's an established player but Crawford is far from it. Good to know he was actually sick. |
