Well if the throws a TD everytime he gets knocked down I'm good with 5 hits a game.

Great job Bob/Robert/Robert Griffin/Robert Griffin III/ RG3, win just a few more of those and you should have rookie of the year locked up!

PS MS and KS don't run this kid 10 times a game, limit his hits please so we can have him on the field more. Thanks

I agree with you that it is ridiculous, and he only ended up there based on getting hit.

I really hope that is dead by the end of week 2.

Until he turns into Michael Vick and spends as much time on the bench licking his wounds as he does on the field. Me no likey that.

Wait until he gets voted to the cover of Madden 14 :(
A guy I worked with seriously tried to tell me that all he threw was screens and that he wasn't impressed.

The screen passes are getting way too much play. Lots of QBs, even well established ones, start games with a few gimme throws, especially season openers. Look at Breezy's first few passes. After the first drive, RGIII didn't throw another screen the whole game.

And with the Skins in control most of the game (they were up 30-14 at one point), why in the hell would anyone expect RGIII to be throwing bombs down the field?!?!? One of the articles posted here, I think it was the back to college article, highlighthed the discrepency between Brees and RGIII in passes over 20 yards. Hello? Brees was playing from behind. Does the hail mary at the end count?

All things considered, RGIII was amazing. Period.

I mentioned this in another thread, I'll mention it again here.

I suggest that everyone here who has showtime, watch inside the nfl at 9 tonight, I expect to hear a great analysis from Cris Collinsworth and Phil Simms. And you'll see great sideline footage and highlights of our game, stuff you didn't see on sunday

Unless we're playing the Patriots/Packers/Saints someone that can keep up, sit Griff and give Cousins some PT.
