I think it's odd that Gibbs hasn't (at least I don't think) mentioned having McCants in the game plan for next year.

I personally love to beat dead horses. I think the real decision will be made by Ramsey. Who will he have the best on field and off raport with. I like Jacobs chances based on last season, I would love to see both McCants and Jacobs out there.

I like Jacobs' chances too, but I also remember days when Ramsey and McCants hooking up often.

Jacobs!!! And remember it all starts with the running game. I think we'll have better production all around. Hopefully Portis can get up near that 5.5 avg again and everything else will take care of itself.

Re: w/o of next year

Exactly. And with that kind of production, we can have mediocre receivers look like Pro Bowlers.

Re: w/o of next year

You guys are correct. It is all about Portis and getting better than 4 yards per carry. I think Cooley could be a bigger breakout guy than McCants or Jacobs to be quite honest.

Re: w/o of next year

I don't know how Cooley can break out any more than he did this year. I just hope he stays consistent. All I ask is he catches the balls and works on his blocking.

Re: w/o of next year

I thought Cooley already had a breakout season of sorts.

I can see him moving into the 50 catch range this year, and remaining a big redzone target with 7-10 TDs.

Re: w/o of next year

I think we have some average to a little above average WR but who are very fast. If we can spread the field some and get Portis moving we could become the double threat that defences hate to contend with. Our entire offence could be the surprise of the NFL in 2005.

Re: w/o of next year

I would say in general, all the players at our skill positions except for Ramsey are EXTREMELY fast and I have trust in Gibbs that he will use that to our full advantage.

Re: w/o of next year

I hope so, because with our 5'5 130lb receivers, the WR screen won't get much upfield blocking =p

Re: w/o of next year

Haha! I hope that we phase that play out unless Jacobs has some moves we haven't seen yet. If Coles couldn't get it done, I really have doubts about Jacobs and even Moss.

Re: w/o of next year

Things that are very promising are the fact Ramsey has a VERY strong arm and our receivers have VERY fast legs. I think combining the two will most definitely help out our "big play" average.

Re: w/o of next year

Gotta ride with Malcolm on this one (strong arm + fast legs = BIG plays). Reference Cooley again, Last year you saw flashes of potential. I think this year he will be one of the top T.E/ H-backs in the NFC or the league. Who do you guys think is the top five are in the league right now?

Gonzalez, Crumpler, Heap, (I hate to say it) but Whitten and Gates.

Forgot Shockey.
