nothing would make me happier than skullf*cking the giants this thursday night. This time i would like Chris Baker to follow up the Foles incident by teabagging Eli on prime time national tv.
Quoted for eloquence!

OK, with week 3 in the books, we have the #2 ranked offense and the #4 ranked defense in the league: NFL Stats: Team

I know it's early, and the D was not impressive yesterday (and played two pretty crappy offenses the prior two weeks), but man -- hard to imagine that many teams with those rankings would sport a losing record.

Let's get back to .500 on Thursday with a beat down of the Giants. Please!

Redskins: 28
Giants: 17

But this time, our running game gets us going, we force 2 picks from Eli, and special teams doesn't embarass us too much.

I hate Thursday night games, it is bad for the players. Usually it is a bad game, too. But the home team does have an slight advantage, so it works for the Skins this time.

If there's some way for Cousins to go 3-20 with 5 INTs and we still win...that's pretty much the dream right there

I took it as the "i want Griff to be the guy at all costs while we still win games as KC falls on his face dream"

I doubt it happens this week, but we need to clean up penalties. I don't believe you can move to the next level when you are getting 10+ penalties every game (even in this current flag crazy NFL). And I think that's on the head coach to set that tone somehow (Please DON'T ask me well What would I do about them!).

We can't win if we play dumb, even if we expect the Giants to be dumber.

If RG is the QB yesterday the Skins get dusted by 30 points but this is a NYG post so,

Since this is a must win game I think the Skins do:
WAS 31
NYG 24

i feel like we are limping into this with injuries and guys being generally banged up.

hall and hatcher are out. orakpo's hand and alfmo are being closely watched.

the eagles game had some much drama and roller coaster of emotions, it will be hard to re-focus on the giants.

home team on ThNF has a distinct advantage this year but we do not have to travel far. might even be able to sleep in their own beds wed night and head up to NYC thurs morning.

** divisional games should not be held on Thursday night. we are coming off a very physical game with the eagles only to turn around and play another NFC east foe 4 days later?

this has all the makings of a let down game for us (even though we are coming off a loss)

^Giants are coming here.

It's impossible to predict this game without knowing who can play. Off the top of my head, Hatcher, Morris, Porter, Reed, Jordan, Lavuao, Forbath, and Hall are all banged up. Assuming most of these guys won't play, with only a few days between games, I say we probably lose. But I'll reserve my "official" prediction until we get the injury reports.

Hatcher is out?

hatcher has a ham string injury. i don't believe he's been officially ruled out but it's hard to imagine he'll play on a short week.

this is a test for gruden, haslett and allen at this point. next man up. every other team deals with injuries. time to see how we deal with ours...
