Re: Our Secondary
Is Reid Doughty still unsigned? Perhaps we bring him in a the vet min to help at safety.

Re: Our Secondary
We need to bring Ade Jimoh back to play corner and special teams!
Crawford should be getting healthier, he's had an extra month to rest. I like the kid, wouldn't hurt to have him as reserve.
I like Crawford, too. I think he could help us if he's close to 100%. |
Re: Our Secondary
Bummed about Hall and what it could mean for him long term. Tough injury to come back from for a guy on the wrong side of 30.
|
Re: Our Secondary
Hate for Hall as well at his age
The secondary is gonna miss Hatcher .......bad |

Yup. I wonder if we'll have Amerson shadow their #1 and swap sides to do so. No one else on the roster is gonna stick with the likes of Dez Bryant and others like him. |
Re: Our Secondary
Hall really shut down Dez last year. We will really miss him, even though so far 2014 wasn't appearing to be as strong a campaign.

Re: Our Secondary
Time to move on and step up. Was gonna happen sooner or later.
Paging David Amerson, we're ready for your close-up. |
Re: Our Secondary
I actually think Amerson makes the step, and Breeland might surprise. Pretty excited to see several young talents stepping up.

Re: Our Secondary
Isn't Amerson in danger of getting suspended for a game? Maybe I heard wrong
Minnifield has yet to really prove that he's ready. I have faith in him, like what I've seen. But some of us need to put aside our hatred of DeAngelo Hall before we act like we won't miss a beat with the upcoming changes at DB. I think more than ever Orakpo and the rest of that front 7 needs to step up. |

I've been impressed with the LBs for the most part. i think Thomas may need to get the call and I'm not sure about Breeland. I like Amerson but Hall was far and away our best player in the secondary. He acted like an ass way too much but he's the closest we have to an elite corner. |
Re: Our Secondary
They better not call Rambo, you can't teach hitting. Rambo is scared of contact. Breeland on the other will tackle you. He can learn technique but he will pop you, that's natural.

I think Amerson and Breeland are our starters for the future. And Amerson was throwing punches Smoot, so he might be. |

Re: Our Secondary
At this point, I think it would be wise if Hall transitioned to FS. Achilles tears are tough to recover from, and considering his age and position, I'm not sure he can recover and be the same player he was....
