if you just want weird, get city of lost children... its even french to boot...
I love this movie! Kinda cool seeing "The Beast" in a French movie... Kinda had that "Brazil" feel. In fact, I like all of Gilliam's movies (12 monkeys, Fear and Loathing, Monty Python, Time Bandits, Baron).

The weirder, the better i say!

Run Ronnie Run
(you can order the full frame at walmart.com for 5.89, but widescreen costs 16.86, or use a pick on Netflix)

this movie is incredibly stupid, but incredibly hilarious. it stars David Cross and Bob Odenkirk, and is about a redneck that tends to have many run-ins with the law. you'll laugh til you pee yourself silly, and laugh again. a buttload of cameos as well.

Anyone, is Netflix any good? Pluses? Drawbacks?

Re: Funniest Bad Movies?

Netflix is great (especially if you have a DVD burner, so you can rent, burn and send back in one day). Typically, I can turn around about 20-30 DVDs in one month. So for 18 bucks, I have 20-30 new DVDs to watch at any given time.

Re: Funniest Bad Movies?

netflix is really the way to go if you watch a lot of movies... walmart handed over their rental business to netflix... that's 100k customers... its weird when walmart decides not to compete ;)

Yeah, SOMEBODY has cornered the market. I'd do the Blockbuster thing if they had more of a selection.

I know it's crazy to say, but my Blockbuster doens't carry Simpsons seasons.

Re: Funniest Bad Movies?

i go with netflix just b/c they seem to carry the more obscure titles that i seek. blockbuster won't carry certain titles if they deem the movie "unsuitable" for their reputation.

plus netflix has a great international selection as well.

Not yet. Netflix lost my movies for about 2 weeks so I'm waiting. It's on my next shipment though!
