Also can't believe it's 2017 and we need to have discussions about racists' rights to free speech. Thanks Trump. How hard is it? Nazi's bad, freedom good. I hate to lump the "alt-right" in with the true Nazi believers but that's what the fuck has to happen when you march side by side and chant "Jew's won't replace us". Their cause becomes your cause. If you're a Nazi sympathizer, there is no difference to me. Even the fucking German people won't tolerate that shit, yet we do.

Its comes down to intelligence, isolation and idle hands. Someone who isn't bright, isolated where its generally not a lot to do and don't have the means to leave; and have nothing much going on in their life, purpose, etc. Folks are angry and looking for some sort of acceptance/purpose...it leads them down a sad path. They are 100% wrong...and these people want confrontation.

Confrontation is affirmation to their sick cause. If nobody gave them any attention, most would most likely quit that movement. Instead all the camera's show up, opposition,...they are somebody for that weekend.

And now we can all talk about it on TV, radio, social media, etc. perpetually 24/7 for the next 2-3 weeks.

I'm HIGHLY concerned about our town come Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Here, we have "Lee/Jackson/King" Day. Last year, a Unity Parade got the permit before the Flaggers and Sons of Confederacy and tensions were tight. I can't even imagine the shit show that could happen in this town of 7,000 if we start talking about taking down the tons of statues here. Hell, my University has Lee in the name. If I hear anything about alt-right groups coming here, I'm out until further notice.

The great gift of social media...read a post this morning on a alt-left Bernie sanders-type progressive site which said, the terrorist attack in Spain could be a Trump/CIA tactic to change the Charlottesville narrative. That at the least, Trump held back information to prevent it.
