Terrible signing, way too much money. Paying a zone corner 15 million a year? No brainer release.

Re: Redskins release Josh Norman

it was a no brainer signing, too.

And by that, i mean the person making the decision had no brain.

Re: Redskins release Josh Norman

I wouldn't say it was a terrible signing - Norman did play well with us for the first 2 years.. Granted he didn't play like a #1 CB money that we signed him to but he definitely elevated the Redskins defense performance in the beginning until our so called defense coaches ruined it all.

We never used him right here. Typical Bruce move to bring in a guy that didn’t fit the scheme well.

That says a lot about Norman and that he shut down player in games. It also shows that Odell didn't play against Norman last year. If he did I don't think he would be endorsing him.

The #Redskins clear $12.4M of cap space by releasing CB Josh Norman, who’s reeled in over $65M in 8 seasons. He’s free to sign with a new team immediately.

Spotrac

Here comes Austin Hooper

Fuck yeah!
WR Paul Richardson One of the worst signing I have ever seen. He will get injured boarding the plane out of town.
I was so pissed the day we signed him. I think I was the only one.

Agreed. Richardson was a poor signing from the start. Bruce Allen didn’t even call DeSean Jackson or Pierre Garçon to try to resign them. Those guys were multi-year 1000 yd WR with a couple good years left in them. Bruce let’s BOTH of them go and then brings in Richardson, who does nothing and keeps Doctson around, who always underperforms. Bruce Allen was one of the worst GM’s in the NFL. I wonder if he was one of the worst Redskin’s GM’s ever - except maybe Cerrato.

I didn't like the Norman signing when it happened. Thought we overpaid for him at the time, and believed that he wouldn't be very good here. I am glad to see him go.
