Re: America is the GOAT
We have a Nigerian paralegal in our office and she was an attorney in Nigeria, both her parents are doctors in Nigeria and she said they dont even own a house. Theres just not room for advancement or professionals to have a good paying job.
In America shes making decent money (more here as a paralegal vs atty in Nigeria), had 2 kids here, studied and got an IT degree during Covid and she is looking to buy a decent 300K house in the area. I have many Ehtiopian and Eritrean clients who uber and while they work hard (drive 50 plus hours a week) they make decent money .. btw $800 to 1.4k a week (not taxed yet). They arent rich but theyre raising their kids in America and their kids will go on to do well in school and become 6 figure earners. From there, their family tree can really blossom. If you work hard, this is the land of opportunity that some other countries dont offer. I think the DMV area has more job opportunities for people vs someone living in rural Mississippi or Kentucky etc. If my Ethiopian clients lived in rural mid west .. I dont think theyd be able to make money. |

How we cook bacon in America![/quote] I’ve starting baking my bacon...I’m never going back. Just simple and don’t have to worry about grease splatter from the barrel or the pan |
