Re: Around the NFL Week 15
As fans of a team that finally has a bright future, I actually want the 9ers to show him the money. They're in the NFC. With Jayden, all NFC teams are official enemies. 9ers giving Heinicke 50 million a year is good for us.
Oh no doubt. I want Purdy to start for every other team in the NFL! So fox was supposed to carry the game Sunday, but they switched it to the Cowboys Panthers. Cus that has playoff implications written all over it! |
Re: Around the NFL Week 15
At this point gotta root for LA to win out and win the division. Seattle has a much tougher road ahead. They are the new public enemy number one.
A lot of talk of Darnold in FA, and wish him well in getting a starting job and the commensurate salary. But I can't help thinking he's Cousins MK2 and the situation in Minn. is making him look better than he is. With talk that the QB crop isn't good this year, will a team near the top of the draft order, like the Giants or Jets, take a leap of faith on a rookie or see if Darnold can bring some magic with him? Be funny if he ends up back in NY.
I don't see Minnesota letting him go. |

Biggest games to me Pitt- Phi, Pitt needs to win. Sea- GB, Sea needs to win, Obviously we need to win

Can they pay him enough to stay? He's likely the new Cousins. He'll trade off one great season for big bucks. Can they afford to pay him and Jefferson AND build around them? |

They also have McCarthy waiting in the wings who I think has a chance to be a quality starter. If I'm Minny, I'm trying everything to resign Darnold. He's been great this season. Him, Jefferson, and Addison are no joke.

De'Vondre Campbell is being ripped a new asshole by his teammates for refusing to enter the game last night and you know what? I'm here for it. Wouldn't be surprised if he's Kaepernick'd after this. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 15
On Sunday, if we beat the Saints and the Packers lose to Seattle, then we will take over the lead for the 6th playoff spot from Green Bay. That would be based on the W-L records for both teams being the same and our holding the tie-breaker because we would have the better conference record. I post this just in case you hadn't yet noticed.
p.s. I apologize, CRR. I didn't see your earlier post. |

That was a crucial game for the 49ers and he was the backup for the LB who got hurt and could not finish the game. That is unforgivable. I expect him to be cut in a day or two. |

Yeah the whole concept of being unselfish for the team apparently didn't register for him. He's gonna reap what he sows. |

Horrible. Rough year for the Niners.

They could Franchise Darnold if they need to see another year from him. |

Dionte Johnson refused to play vs Eagles. I think this is the first time where 2 incidents happened in the same season. |
