Brunell looks like a mongoloid riding a unicycle on ice being attacked by killer bees.
I don't mean to sound negative :cheeky-sm .......but I do not see Jacobs being able to take the physical side of being an NFL WR. The guy is injured way too much. Maybe in non-contact practices he looks like the next Jerry Rice, but as soon as the hitting starts he crumbles.
Hate to say I told you so, but I have said several time this offseason when folks started raving about TJ's non-contact practice showings, but I said as soon as the hitting starts TJ will get hurt.
He riminds me of a less talented Michael Westbrook. At some point you can not continue to hold up a roster spot for a guy that is hurt half the time.
WE need to be careful how quickly we judge our 2nd round draft pick and not make the same mistake the Cowboys made with there former 2nd round draft pick, Jimmy Smith - who was labeled as being "injury prone."

Smith had ZERO catches in 3 years with the Cowboys and only played in 7 games ... then he only had 22 in his first year in JAX - he turned out alright!

Keenan Mcardell only had 24 catches his first four years in the league ...guess who drafted him and failed to give him a chance, yep - the skins! So lets wait a little before we kill off TJ ...

I just hope it doesn't turn out Gardner-like, where we give enough chances. I still think he'll be fine. He's just had bad luck.

As far as I know, TJ wasn't oft injured in college, so I don't think he has a history of injuries. Antonio Brown is who I hope steps up and fills in. This group reminds me a little of the Alvin Garrett, Virgil Seay era of "the smurfs". They did pretty well. Who will be our Gary Clark?
It's out!
lol it wasn't up when i posted it, it said something like the depth chart will not be posted in the offseason

Guys really look at it, clark over bowen, lamar then smith then mccune, what about holdman. Antrell hawkins and Garnell 2nd CBs

arrington not on list? Holdman starter with washington on other side

ladell on KOF duties, Brown on Punt duties, John hall starting,

Yeah, it's a little bit strange as of now. I DO like to see Sean Taylor at first string where he belongs.

Re: Jacobs Down, Who Steps Up?

yes sir, GW scared me in his brilliance by putting sean in later.
I'd still love to see Campbell move up to 2nd string by the beginning of the season.
As much as I was against us picking him I to would like him in the #2 backup role, I would also like to see Spinner who Gibbs has had some good things to say about land in the #3 spot, although cap wise I doubt that's possible, but I do think we have to move on and get as far away as possible from Brunell, all he's doing now is eating up cap space and retarding the growth of Campbell.

Re: Jacobs Down, Who Steps Up?

I'm also saying that there's NO REASON we should ever put Brunell back in there. I mean I really don't think he has much gas left in the tank. He might not be as bad as he showed last year, but I still don't think he's capable of getting it done.

We shoulda let the Cowboys have Brunnel last season

i would move campbell up to the second string. after watching brunell in minicamps, and hearing about him at the scrimmage, im convinced that mark brunell needs to move to the broadcast booth.

And then he's light the world on fire when he played us. It ALWAYS happens like that to former Skins.
