Ok there are some teams that I thought where to high and I also believe they put the skins a little bit low.

There is no way the chargers are #4 this is just based on LAST year and people you have to take it for what it is its just bull crap they play it safe this is the same team of people that put the chargers at #32 last year and now say they are the 4th best team based on 1 season thats FOX for you. so take it as it is.

Also the bills can't be that high with a rookie QB (and higher than Pitsburgh may I add fell to number 8 behind the Jets come on)

The Cardinal ARE WAYYYYY HIGH this is based more on the assumption they are going to take the divisions....... BRONCOS droping 12 spots to 20 based on what ......... this is all hipe and speculation I do believe the Boys and Skins needed to be at least 3 spots up

The Bottom 6 teams I do agree and the top 2 also untill they prove otherwise

JP Freaking Losman??????!?!?!?!?!!? I am not saying this kid is not going to be good but he has thrown exactly 5 passes in the NFL. 5 PASSES! How can any team witha guy that inexperienced be ranked 5th. That is just silly.

There is no doubt two teams are grossly overated one is the cardinals, and 2 is the bills. I know the cards have a lot of potential but this is hard to swallow. The Bills have losman at Q...this alone should downgrade them...he is a mystery. I feel the redskins and cowboys are fairly placed in preseason power rankings because their respective offenses are just unproven. The NFC east cannot be dominant on defense alone!!

After watching the new Gibbs, Williams, and Arrington videos last night and hearing more of the usual crap from the media, I have a feeling I will be using the phrase:

"It's Joe Gibbs, stupid"

fairly often as a reply to the pre-season doubters.

The more we are overlooked, the better. Said it before.

These things are a joke, of course. But everyone is really on the cards jock this year, and the BIlls as well. Well see...

Thank god we actually get to PLAY the games! ;)

Ok I will admit that the skins and the coaching(that includes Gibbs but not WIlliams) looked very shaky at the beginingof the year. The play calling, use of time outs, clock maniagement etc... Gibbs start to show all the signs in the last 6 to 7 games he was adjusting to the NFL. Gibbs is Gibbs and I think everyone is stuck on their first half of the season because of all the hype of Gibbs returning and they have just forgotten who they are talking about. Gibbs is going to be the one with a chip on his shoulder this year and I like that. One other thing is why don't people say the game has passed by Parcells he went from the play off to 6 & 10. With two years back in coaching he is regressing.

Good point. By the time the coaching staff was adjusting to the nuances of today's NFL, we were all but eliminated - bue not only to those adjustments, but a good deal of poor play. There was a sea change in the team, but nobody pays attention to how the losers finish.

1. Pats
2. Eagles
3. Steelers
4. Chargers
5. Falcons
6. Panthers
7. Jets
8. Vikings
9. Chiefs
10. Broncos
12. Bills
13. Seahawks
14. Jags
15. rams
16. bengals
(i refuse to predict the saints or raiders, neither one has a defense (these two might be fighting for who gets the 31st best defense this year) but they have the POTENTIAL on offense to outscore some people... sometimes).

22. cardinals
23. packers
24. texans
25. lions
26. Bucs
27. Titans
28. Giants
29. Bears
30. Dolphins
31. 49ers
32. Browns

I put twenty seconds of thought into this, but i like it better... I think the chiefs and panthers will have much better records... it'd be unlikely the panthers get rocked by injuries again, and the chiefs actually got at least a few talented defensive players now... remember in 03 they went 13-0 and the panthers went 9-0... I think they're over their slumps for now.

I agree with the last six, i'd put the bucs below us though... they got an RB, but its still an aging defense and a an O lacking any real talent.

I think the lion are a bit high too, the only real strength they have is WR, maybe DL... they have to prove it first, just like the cards.

Re: And it begins- the ever popular....Power Rankins

in my personal power rankings, the Redskins are ranked numero uno. Everyone else is ranked between 2-32. I'll show you a preview of who earns #30, 31, and 32.

30. Gints - The Gints are, how should i put this, bad. 'Nuff said.

31. Egirls- The Egirls have certainly fought their share of bad news this offseason. What makes my power rankings different from others is the fact that the Egirls aren't gonna have a leg to stand on. We all know how T.O. feels about the organization and their franchise quarterback, Donovan McTurtle. They will finish 3rd in the NFC East this year.

32. Cowpokes - Coming in last in my world popular power rankings are the Cowpukes. Everyone thinks that these horse ridin' homo's are worthy of a playoff berth because of their offseason moves. I for one am not falling for it. This team will be lucky if they manage to win a single game in 2005. Why? because of Drew "The Statue" Bledsoe. This guy moves like he has cinderblocks tied to his feet. Washington, Philadelphia, and New York are gonna have field days sacking this guy. And their porous defense isn't gonna have any help from last year. They couldn't defend the pass if it him them in the face. And the run defense, it looks like they want to give running backs craters to run through.
please remember this is the Fox power rankings. This is the same media group that didn't vote Ramsey as Fan Favorite for the tough guy award 2 years ago because they liked Ray Lewis better, although redskins fans "flooded the voting polls". Fox media is shitty. So I don't care about their rankings, if anything I'm happy because I want the team to be underated, it will suprise other teams when we whoop dat ass!
Exactly. Fox is if definition of a "controlled" medium. Gosh...I wonder who controlls them...?

There has been some discussions among the moderators about resurrecting our own award-winning Power Poll™ for this season. We should be releasing ours before the first game. I hope you don't rip us this badly ;).

Honestly, I'm feeling that the Vikes might be a surprise to actually take the Super Bowl this year. I think the Patriots will be good enough to make the playoffs and that Peyton will finally get the monkey off his back (after losing the regular season games to them).
