Without much respect to Roy Williams, I am going to be quite blunt. I think the guy is a good player, but a very dirty one at the same time. I think that it was about time that he got a penalty in honor of his horse-collaring and ill regard for clean play. I was appalled at what he got away with last year, and I am glad that the league is finally doing something about it, though they still have to make sure that they follow through on their new rule. I remember how many times he was able to get away doing that to our players last year, tackling from around the collar of guy from their blind side just to gain an edge. It is finally coming around to him now and the guy could not be respected around the NFL very highly for his dirty play. I hope he cleans it up significantly this year, so that his fans can respect him as a player and not a criminal on the field. (The TO example is prime, regardless of my dislike of the Eagles)

Did you listen to Michaels and Madden last night? Whoever the biggest star of the moment is, they're going to spend the whole game blowing. I wonder how much listerine it took to get the taste of Parcells out Madden's gargantuan mouth...

The NFL bends the rules for the stars. Period. The more established you are, the better. It's just like how Jordan never got called for that forearm shiver he used to throw before taking a fade away. Watch an Eagles game and pay attention to how often McNabb is throwing either as he is passing or is already just past the line of scrimmage.

Yeah, like that PROVES anything... He could be just patting him on the back... or brushing his shoulders off...

I guess it's only a penalty if he does it to TO...
