I'd like to point out, for the record, that I had nothing to do with this hijacking.

Has anyone actually used that Home Depot team colors paint? Is it more expensive than normal, and if so, is it worth it? We're going to paint our basement Skin's colors and I might have to steal Matty's idea of the sponge or use a feather duster.

I went to Home Depot with the intention of buying the team paint but we decided to pick our own colors. The burgundy is just too dark. Then we had some problems with the paint dept in Home Depot, the guy there was totally useless so we went to Lowes.

They have two colors, Redskins Burgundy and Redskins Red. You're right, the Burgundy looks too dark, I think the Redskins Red looks better for a room.

I got BUUUURRRRRNNNNNNED! Actually, my dad wants to paint it, not the part that's my room that. The only problem is that we have a pool table with blue felt and it would look weird.

I forgot to mention the coolest thing, I took one of my Skins mini helmets (the yellow one with the 'R' logo) to Lowes and they custom mixed the yellow paint from that helmet.

When we did the first coat it looked like cheese wiz on the wall, so I was a little worried. But then for the ragging technique we mixed white in with the yellow and it really lightened up nice.

very smooth, Matty. totally reminds me of the Redskins crib i built in ESPN2K5 on xbox, parking signs and all. one of the best features of that game.

You and your wife did a really nice job on the room Matty. I love the paint job; I wish I could paint the walls around my Redskins Bar. But it’s in the living room and I’m having a really hard time convincing my Girlfriend that it’s a “great idea”. :rolleyes: Keep posting pictures as you add to it. It’s inspiring for me too see all the cool rooms on this site.:food-smil
