id rather not risk re-injury against one of the worst teams in the nfl...
If that's how you see it, why play any of the starters?
People keep bringing up the fact the Titans played the Colts close, but what about some of their other games?

They lost by 7 to the Jets, got hammered by the Chargers 40-7, lost a close one to the awful Dolphins, and then got rocked by Dallas.

I don't think last week is a guarantee they're going to play the Redskins tough. They could just as easily end up another blowout victim.
I agree. Indy has a below average running game and a run Defense that rivals some area high school teams only. Indy has serious issues to address. I don't think Tenn played them tight as much as Indy isn't that much better than Tenn wehn Tenn is playing well and Indy isn't hitting on all cylinders.

last time i checked springs is the only player who has been out the whole season so far, and has already been re-injured once in practice this year. i dont see any other starters in that situation.

What I like is that it seems that he has a good sense of the pulse that Redskins nation has. He always answers the questions that are flooding the forums and makes sure that he puts a "finality" to it that ends all discussion.

Portis starting in the Dallas game was exactly the same thing.

If he can play, then start him in a game that the skins should get ahead in, then sit him.

He needs live contact, play coverage in a game situation and the smell of a win.

Portis was not 100% in the Houston game nor has he been since that game. He went of the Giants game after blocking Lavar, but he will continue to play. Why? he needs to get into "game condition".

Listning to him talk last night I'm not so sure he's really ready to play. If he attempts to play at less than 100% he runs the risk of missing more time. It would be nice to have him back, but not at the risk of further injury. It could be that he's feeling the pressure because the secondary has played so poorly, and feels an instant urge to get back.

no, portis in the vikings game would be the equivalent of springs starting against the titans. portis wasnt ready when he played against the vikings, and he had to miss the next game. that is why i dont want springs to rush this back again, he is too important a player to risk this even more. he better be 110% healthy or bench him.

Play him now. He's had ample time to recouperate. If he's medically cleared to go, get him in there and get him up to speed.

I disagree, it is the Titans, not a great team, and we can slip by them without Springs. Rest him one more week, we will need him in Indy.

Titans are not to be under-cut.

If Springs is healthy... as in really healthy... then why shouldn't we play him? I think it would be beneficial for his development (back into game shape) to actually play in a game. We need him back, and if he's ready... then theres no reason for him not to be playing.

If he's any less then 100% sit him and then worry about next week.

Let him get a weeks rest if he is fine and be ready for the slew of crazy good QBs and WRs we have coming up. Next 4 weeks after have indi, cowboys, and the eagles.

That's kind of what I see happnin'. He gets some work to get his rythym back and test his condition. That way he come back full boat to help staunch Indy's aerial assault
