there's already been talk of converting fedex into a mall. apparently it wouldn't be super difficult to do...

Wait... didn't FedEx buy the naming rights for like 20 years? Snyder would have to buy out FedEx's contract.

I hope the skins get a new stadium Fed Ex is a dump. RFK was a great place to watch a game. That was a real home field advantage. If Marion Barry was still mayor at that time the skins would have had a stadium in DC where it belongs.

they might be able to transfer it, but they might not have to buy it out as much as stop taking payments... it wasn't a lump sum but yearly income right?

RFK was definitely a true homefield advantage, but it was quite the dump as well.

Yeah i think those deals are genrally yearly payments. That only makes sense.

I don't think the naming rights thing would be a major hurdle. Transfer it to the new digs, not a big deal.
