No doubt!
THE RAUNCHY RAYMOND (He had the biggest raunch in the West!) Ham, crab salad, Swiss cheese, bacon, tomato & golden sauce all broiled on choice of bread From Roy's Place in Gaithersburg
You're from Naples and you know about Roy's Place? Wow. Roy's Place has some great sandwiches You know what else is great? A Cubano sandwich (Redskins_P knows what I'm talking about). I used to go to the same snack stand every day for lunch in Puerto Rico and buy one of those from some older man. The man's granddaughter would help him out every now and then. Nice girl, really friendly, kinda cute....she went on to become Miss Universe |
Re: F...avorite Sandwich.
Cubano sandwiches rock. I get those when I'm down in Florida myself. I HATE mayo, so it's not truly cuban when I get it without, but those are the hotness.

Re: F...avorite Sandwich.
How could I forget about Roy's Place (I used to live around the corner). I used to spend at least 20 minutes staring at the menu figuring out what I want to order. Awesome, awesome sandwiches.

Re: F...avorite Sandwich.
My favorite sandwich as of late is the Ruben. I tried my first one about a year ago and I fell in love. In fact I love it soo much that if I was desperate, I would fuck one. :cheeky-sm

Re: F...avorite Sandwich.
There is a sandwich that I always get from a local place that is veeeerrrrry niiiice. It has ham, breast, tomato and cheddar cheese on grilled sourdough bread with mayonnaise and BBQ sauce.
There is a similar sandwich at Applebee's or Chili's, I can't remember which because they're practically the same place, that's also pretty money. |
Re: F...avorite Sandwich.
what'chya know about the banana and mayonaise? ... and something about toasted bread and a napkin. yum.

Re: F...avorite Sandwich.
HAHAHAHA at Summo.
My favorite sandwich in Lexington is called the Hot Brown. It's at our local, most popular bar Palm's. It's roast beef, lettuce, grilled onions, hot peppers and ranch dressing. DELICIOUS. |
Re: F...avorite Sandwich.

Re: F...avorite Sandwich.
wendy's #7 (chicken fillet) plain. used to be the KFC original recipe chicken fillet sandwhich (which was beyond awesome), but they stopped selling them :(.

Re: F...avorite Sandwich.
I had two greazy BLTs for dinner last night. They were damn good, but in hindsight I think I should have thrown some turkey, ham, and swiss on them and just made a big ass club sandwich.

Re: F...avorite Sandwich.
I made healthy tacos. I get the 97-3 ground beef, put some lettuce, Ortega taco sauce and mix in there. Delicious at 200 calories a taco and 2 tacos is a serving.

They used to have some great sandwiches. |

Nah, not anymore. The place that replaced it is called Malone's. It's a Boston pub-like atmosphere. It's kind of "high-class" but "low-class" all at the same time. It's got really gourmet type of food, but it's huge with the W&L and VMI students. GREAT draft beer selection and pretty decent beer prices. You should check it out if you're ever up in Lexington (doing God knows what!). And yes, Ortega rocks my face off. Not Buck, the sauce. |

If we could just work the phrase "where's the beef," "avoid the Noid," and the fast-talking MicroMachines guy into this thread we'll have covered all my favorite commericals from my childhood. |
Re: F...avorite Sandwich.
"Avoid the Noid," was quite possibly one of my favorite clips from Family Guy.
