Re: It is soo painful to watch the Wizards
If we play in the playoffs against the Bulls i could see us setting futility records all over the place, judging from tonight's game. 68 points? We weren't even in the game from the start. It was a 48 minute domination.

Re: It is soo painful to watch the Wizards
I wish Gilbert could have gotten hurt at the beginning of the season...
The only thing I hate worse than sucking is mediocrity. I really hope we just tank it in the playoffs and that will be that. (I'm a terrible wizards fan, but without agent zero we have no chance) |
Re: It is soo painful to watch the Wizards
So maybe Arenas really is the league MVP? They sure have struggled without him. But I want them to play as hard as they can, definitely not tank it
|
Re: It is soo painful to watch the Wizards
I am gonna cry when i watch their playoff games. I know it.

Hey, when a butt THAT big is pushing you under the basket... Shaq isn't talented at all, just HUGE. Watching him shoot outside of 5 feet from the basket is painful. Anyone could score with that much fat, I mean body mass. |
Re: It is soo painful to watch the Wizards
The score was not indicative of the game, but still it is sad just watching my Wiz lose.
What do you guys think the series will end up being? Today's loss was pretty bad, and LeBron didnt even play well. |

I want that to happen so badly. So the media and LeBron can shove it. |

Is it just me, or does he aggravate you more as time goes on? I really dislike how cocky he is, and it seems like he just plays when he wants to Randy Moss style. Who knows, maybe he's depressed. I don't watch enough basketball to really know his playing style, but what that's what I see. |

Im not big on pimping out other sites, but I googled hate Lebron James and this pic came up. Hes an arrogant cry baby. I hate the way he does his pregame cloud of smoke thing. I was at game 6 last season whn Arenas hit that long ass 3 to send it to OT. But Baby Bron Bron won. If they can squeek out enough wins I will try to go game 6 May 4th. I hate you cry baby lebron james, you get more jordan-type foul calls than anyone else Ive ever seen. Quit being a baby. On the other hand, losing both Arenas and Butler was a death sentence for the wiz. Can you imagine playing 4 or 5 minutes a game and then becoming a starter? Im with you wiz, just don't get swept. |
Re: It is soo painful to watch the Wizards
warpath, i agree lebron is the biggest little bitch in the nba. these phantom calls are killing the already half dead wizards

He must be the only guy in the NBA thats allowed to travel every time he touches the ball, appearently the rules of the game dont apply to him, it makes me sick listening to the crowd in cleveland, and for the record I absolutely hate Larry Hughes. |
Re: It is soo painful to watch the Wizards
In the 2nd quarter the Wiz were up by 7, 44 seconds later they were down by 2. Ridiculous. Half dead might be a stretch man.
|
Re: It is soo painful to watch the Wizards
i cant believe that cleveland thinks they actually have a good team. if we had arenas and butler we would beat these clowns i have no doubt
|
Re: It is soo painful to watch the Wizards
Stevenson's gotta step it up. This was his chance to shine. His time to earn that major contract that blew by him last off-season
|
Re: It is soo painful to watch the Wizards
I agree. But we don't so the Wiz will be lucky to even get 1.
|
Re: It is soo painful to watch the Wizards
Damn, is anyone else watching the Warriors Mavs game? How 'bout them Warriors
|
Re: It is soo painful to watch the Wizards
no im watching wizards still
|
Re: It is soo painful to watch the Wizards
yo smootsmack change it back to the wizards game wiz down 5 with 39 seconds with the ball
|
Re: It is soo painful to watch the Wizards
yeah I got them both on, flipping back and forth
|
Re: It is soo painful to watch the Wizards
now its over

We just cant close. |
Re: It is soo painful to watch the Wizards
this makes me sad:(

Re: It is soo painful to watch the Wizards
They played tough, just didn't have the depth to keep up for 4 quarters.

Me too. I can't stand Cleveland, and not having Gil and Caron out there has been flat out painful to watch. Really a bummer. I had a hard time even turning the game on. But I'm a fan. Or in this case is it a masochist? I hurt regardless... |
Re: It is soo painful to watch the Wizards
I got my wish. Wizards flopped, no contest.
I hate losing, but I hate mediocrity even more. Let's hope the bench benefited from this and we play with some ferocity next season. |
Re: It is soo painful to watch the Wizards
Difficult times. I look forward to seeing if Ernie can pull off some magic this summer. Our cap situation isn't so great, but I hope we can package some players, including one of our mediocre centers (if not both), and get some talent down low. I also hope we sign Blatche to a reasonable extension of at least 3 years.
Crazy season. |
Re: It is soo painful to watch the Wizards
Thank God its over. But you have to give Eddie Jordan credit....he had these guys playing hard. There just wasn't enough talent.
Its going to be interesting to see what Ernie does this offseason. I think both Haywood (thank god) and Thomas are gone. We need an inside presence..... |
Re: It is soo painful to watch the Wizards
Pau Gasol has been trying to get out of Memphis...maybe we could trade Haywood, Jarvis Hayes and a draft pick or something. Donnell Taylor can fill Hayes' spot next year...the injuries late in the season really got him and a few other guys ready for the future.
I actually like Etan, he's a blocking and rebounding monster...if he could only learn to shoot free throws, he'd be great. |
Re: It is soo painful to watch the Wizards
It'll be interesting to see what happens with DeShawn. He had a chance to play for a huge contract this postseason and he blew it big time. We can get him back cheap, but will we?
|

We need to. He's been labeled by several "experts" as one of the biggest free agent steals this year. We got him for less than a million and he played great. Ernie Grunfeld has a done a great job, and Deshawn is an example. |
Re: It is soo painful to watch the Wizards
I agree that DeShawn was a steal, but man did he disappear down the stretch.
This was prime time for him to show he can produce offensively and I didn't see anything special from him while Antawn, Gil, and Tough Juice were out for extended periods of time. He was shooting such a high percentage with all three of those guys int eh game because he was wide open most of the time. Once he had to create his own shots he didn't do much. Not that we should get rid of him, but he doesn't deserve a big contract just to keep him here. |
