Re: Are We Better Off Without Moss?
It depends.
In the short term, we are better without Santana. However, in the long term he is still our most talented weapon and we will need him healthy to reach offensive dominance. Since we are so far from offensive dominance, we really can't do a whole lot with him at this point. |
Re: Are We Better Off Without Moss?
NO! The Redskins need Santana Moss. He is the biggest threat the Redskins have. He can take a simple slant route and take it all the way. He has been hampered by injuries and when he has played, the timing with Jason Campbell has been off. I think that has a lot to do with Moss not being at full speed. Moss has always shown the ability to run under the deep pass. Campbell has put a few out there and Moss is physically incapable of turning on that second gear and running underneath the ball.
I would like to see the Redskins come out and attack the Cowboys from the beginning of the game and not wait until they get behind. In the three wide receiver set, if healthy, I would like to see Moss and Randle El as the wideouts and Keenan McCardell as the possession receiver. In the four wide receiver set, I would like to see Moss and Randle El as the wideouts and Keenan McCardell and James Thrash in the slots. |
Re: Are We Better Off Without Moss?
He is still our only deep threat wideout.
