Oh that sounds familiar. |
Re: Very Early 2008 predictions.
12-4. Greg Blache is going to keep the defense in tack, and Jim Zorn will challenge Jason Campbell to quiet all of his doubters and Jason will not be the best QB in the NFL, but he will be a great compliment to Clinton Portis.
Jim Zorn will do something for Clinton that Joe Gibbs couldn't, adapt his playbook to Clinton's running style. Jim Zorn will be a great coach, I am fully confident in that now, at first I wasn't but as you look at it and think about it, it just slowly makes sense. |
Re: Very Early 2008 predictions.
And the only worse thing than predictions in january is predictions the evening after your teams last december game.
If we have ocho cinco: 10-6 If we dont: 6-10
That's pretty insane. Chad Johnson replacing Santana in the lineup adds like 1/3 of a win based on last years production. Unless your are suggesting that he brings Carson Palmer with him...in which case that's still pretty insane, but not quite as bad. Point is, if you truly think we are a 6 win team, then you can add Ocho Cinco to the mix...and maybe---maybe we can be a 7 win team. A 6-10 prediction takes a totally different roster than a 10-6 prediction. Unless you think that Johnson is bringing luck over with him. |

Re: Very Early 2008 predictions.
I predict that the Skins will make at least 1 off season move that will be hated by the majority of Warpathers.
I predict there will be at least 10 prediction threads between now and opening day. I predict that Peter King will continue to be a douche bag. I predict that there will be more posts about Chad Johnson than all the players actually on the roster combined. I predict this will be my 300th post.
This is the kind of predictions I was expecting. Mine: At least one major player will be lost for the season during preseason rekindling the number of preseason games debate. A team that finished in last place in their division will win it this year (Eagles? Rams?). A team picking in the top ten will make the playoffs (of course the Pats pick 7 so it's not a huge prediction there). Defensive player will get a radio helmet. Despite Zorn's success, Snyder and VC will be chastised by the fans. Joe Gibbs will be in Snyder's box every home game and several Skins will be on Pit Row during the offseason. |
Re: Very Early 2008 predictions.
Every team in the NFC east will be 16-0 going in the playoffs, dont ask how this gonna happen, it just will. Then Roger G. will be so impressed that there will be no AFC Championship game only two NFC Championship games and the SuperBowl will be the Redskins vs. Cowboys vs. Giants, but the Patriots will probably win.
