Listen, I'm perfectly willing to admit that the 'Skins beating the Cowboys is a tall order, but making blanket predictions about the future is just silly.
If this is true, then tell me WHY every week there is a "Game Prediction" thread created on this board? |
Re: Cowboys Wk 4
The Dallas defense better be a concern for the Skins. They quitetly shut down offenses. Even the eagles in the second half.
Your offense is your best defense. You guys get up big early and make the opposition one dimensional. If we can hang with you early, I think you guys are going to get surprised. |
Re: Cowboys Wk 4
I believe the Skins will show up to play. Whether they're good enough to beat the Cowboys in Dallas is another story. We'll find out who is for real.
You can count on the the Cowboys being for real!! |

I think the Redskins will be suprised by the Dallas defense. The give a little at first but tighten the screws as the game goes along. |

You can't tell me you're not concerned at all with Romo's "Brett, JR" act? The guy has a ton of talent but he makes some really stupid decisions when it comes to ball security. |
Re: Cowboys Wk 4
No I'm not concerned. It looks like the guy will have the same results as Favre. If that's the case. The NFC East will belong to Dallas for several years again. You should be concerned about where campbell is headed.

Have you been watching the last two weeks? I'm very comfortable with where JC is headed, trust me. Just hope you guys don't fall behind. Romo will turn into an INT machine if he starts pressing. I think that's how we win this game, because of his decision making. At least that's what I'm hoping for... |
Re: Cowboys Wk 4
I think the Cowboys should be concerned when TO retires. That offense is only ordinary when he's out of the lineup. He makes the WHOOOLE thing go.

When it starts costing us games I will get concerned. For now though that is one of the things that makes Dallas so tought to beat. That is thier ability to overcome miscues and still win the game. In week 2, Romo throws a pick deep in our own territory and it resulted in an Eagles TD. The very next set of downs, Romo tries to get "cutsy" with a fumble and fumbles it to an Eagles defensive TD. 14 points off turnovers on consecutive series. Cowboys overcame these miscues and win the game. Week 3 at Green Bay, Romo throws a pick, then gets not 1 BUT 2 intentional grounding calls. Did Dallas loose because of this? Nope, they overcame thier own mistakes and found a way to win. Go all the way back to 2007 and the MNF Bufflalo game when Romo threw 5 INT's in one game. Did they fold the tents and accept as "a bad day"? Nope again ovecame thier own adversities and scratched out a win. We just have to take the good with the bad. Thats all. The good is Romo is 28-4 since becoming the starting QB. The bad: sometimes he gives me a friggin coronary when he plays.
I think the Cowboys should be concerned when TO retires. That offense is only ordinary when he's out of the lineup. Nope I don't think so. That stuff will come out in the wash. The Redskins will not win Sunday. No way no How period. |

So go ahead and try to shut down Romo and TO. Look what happened to Green Bay. |

Re: Cowboys Wk 4
Our Defense Has Given Up Avg. 108 Yds.rushing A Game---dallas Has An Oustanding 2 Headed Runnung Attack -plus A Very Good Run Blocking O-line---we Better Put A Choke Hold On The Run Game To Have A Shot At Winning This Game.

You keep making those mistakes and it'll cost you dearly. I'm not talking just regular season, I'm talking playoffs too. Keep talking yourself into a false sense of security. I see a 13-3 followed by 1-and-done season in your future, just like last year. |

I'm not going any where! If you guys are going to talk about me and my state that way I will respond. I'm on here wanting to get a prespective of what Redskins fans havve to say and give my opinon. I like my team just as much as you like yours. But don't say stuff like that and I will refrain. What's good for you will be good for me. |
Re: Cowboys Wk 4
This is going to be a tough game. Dallas' O is pretty intimidating. TO is an incredibly talented WR and Romo knows how to make plays, and when opposing D's key on that asset of their game they get pummeled by their rushing attack, and also by Witten who is next to impossible to match up against.
Luckily we have Sean Springs; he is healthy and very confident in his game right now. If anyone can take TO out of a game singlehandedly it is him. If he can do that it will make this game a bit more manageable. Still somehow we've got to find someone to match up against Witten, we've got to get pressure on Romo to force some of his stupid mistakes, and most importantly we have to shut down the run. That is a lot to ask for from our D, but not impossible. If our Offense can keep the cowboys Offense off the field, our well rested D may stand a chance. Clinton Portis MUST have a good game. And if we have to start putting up points to keep up, Moss will have to keep playing the way he has been. Dallas' D can get some pressure, but if Campbell can continue making quick reads I have no worries about driving on them. If we can sustain our drives, and punch them into the endzone we could very well keep this game close. |

We all have already seen that it doesn't take much to isolate TO. Whitten and the running game will be a large task. |

Of course not...He cant even spell Witten. It probably took him 2 days to come up with the name big blue star! Very astute observation..."Me like the name big blue star...Me like Jessica Simpson...raaah!" |

Re: Cowboys Wk 4
The Cowgirl fans are talking big, but yet no playoff win in 13 years!!!! Let them keep talking out of their a$$es and wait til the end of the year when they are at home again watching the rest of the playoffs cause Homo screws it up again.
Hail to the Redskins!!! Kick those cowgirls butts!!! |

Re: Cowboys Wk 4
I don't think our team is quite ready yet, BUT, Zorn, Blache, and JC all will come ready. Zorn talked about his rivalry with the Raiders in one press conference. Gotta believe he understands the substance of this game.

Re: Cowboys Wk 4
A little like the pot calling the kettle black. Dallas secondary had one HALF of a bad game against the Eagles. The second half of that game the Eagles only managed 7 points and McNabb was sacked 4 times due to coverage.
Rodgers was sacked 5 times last night due to coverage sacks. And the Redskins secondary is ONLY allowing 10 yards less per game in the air than the Dallas secondary. Not to mention that you are facing the #1 offense in the league next Sunday. Washington will not win on Sunday.
What is your explanation for the Redskins not having a turnover in 93 plays. No team can put up the kind of points that make the news when a team doesn't turn the ball over and keeps the opponents offense of the sidelines. Redskins will win this game by out coaching the Pillsbury Doe Boy. |
Re: Cowboys Wk 4
I am not here to make rational arguments. I am not here to learn how to spell. I am not here to engage in a meaningful debate about the issues. I am here to say:
DALLAS SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THOSE BROKE-BACK, CAN'T WIN A PLAYOFF GAME IN 13 YEAR, OVER-CONFIDENT, PUKE-BLUE WEARING MOTHER FUC*ERS ARE GOING DOWN!!!!! It's time for Dallas, not time for debate. Bring it on, yo. |

prior to the 4 out of 6 we did not fair very well the last 4 out of 6 don't matter-controlling their running game does-I show my REDSKINS TATS with HONOR
