Re: Pro Day
The Skins were out here at the Penn State pro day a couple days ago, and I heard they contacted Derrick Williams agent about an individual workout. He ran a 4.38 at the pro day, as opposed to the 4.58 he ran at the combine when he apparently had bronchitis.
I just watched the LSU Pro-Day on NFL.com. Those guys looked good. I've heard that Tyson Jackson DE is being considered by the Skins awhile ago. Herman Johnson G dropped about 30lbs to 350 something. The one that I think that we might be able to get that I really like is Quinn Johnson FB.
We could use another FB. I don't understand, with Washington being a power running team, why we don't have a power runner? CP is a edge slasher. He can run up the middle but he just doesn't have the bulk to get three to four yards up the middle when they know it's coming? Why do we not have a Brandon Jacobs or Marion Barber to punch it in. Everyone know that these guys are up the middle. The question is can you stop them? Why we don't have a Quinn Johnson blocking for big Mike or vice versa is beyond me.
Because our O-line blows. |

Not a pro day post, but this shows the Skins' interest and will worry many warpath readers. |

Correction... our o-line blew. The '09 unit is looking much better regardless of whether we draft a top OT @ 13. There's sure to be some good talent in the FA market after the draft. |

1 QB is one of the last positions we should be drafting 2 we have some many more needs, working out this guy is awaste of our time, and.. 3 I don't really think he's that great to begin with/bustbound
I guess you completely overlooked this part of the article...
Sanchez isn't expected to still be available when the Jets make their first pick at No. 17 in the first round, nor when the Redskins make their selection at No. 13. Of the three teams, the Jaguars have the best shot at nabbing him at No. 8, but even that seems unlikely based on the speculation that he could be the top pick overall in this year's NFL draft. Re: Pro Day
Looks like Oher had a good Pro Day. I think he'd be the safer pick over Andre Smith.
