No I'd say a shotgun because if you're concentrating listening out for movement and all of a sudden you hear a boom it can scare the shit out of you. What they need for these types of games is 360 degre surround sound, so that if a guy is moving at your 8 O'clock you hear the sounds comming from your 8 O'clock.

I play mine on my 7.1 sound system and I can hear people sneaking up, espically on Halo 3. On Halo if there is gun action behind I can hear it in my rear speakers.

Been there, done that, that is why I am being so critical.

Why the hostility Bro? I was just suggesting an advancement for the game. If your system could have actually done what I wanted, then I would have upgraded to the system that you got. I can hear the guys behind me on my system too, but it doesn't do justice to those with keen senses or allow for a distinction of sounds at different distances and positions.

Sorry was not trying to sound hostile, poor choice of words.

Thing is even if it did work that well it would be ruined by all the little kids on there slapping their jaws through the whole game.

I am saying I can hear the differnce between 12, 3, 6, and 9 assuming I don't have a bunch of kids yelling into my head phone.

Gotcha. That is why I only like to play CO-OP modes with guys that I know. I still think that it would be cool to upgrade the way that the sounds are heard. Eventually they will get there.

The thing is all the games are in Dobly Digital waht you are asking for would require a) the software to support that b) the end user having the equipment to produce that.

I am running a Yamaha receiver with all Polk Audio speakers, I probaly spent $2200 on the sound system and to be honest that system is crap compared to the high end stuff out there.

I love the folks who buy the Sony all in one box stero system ($200) and are like doesn't that sound awesome! Ah, no.

I loved the first Call of Duty Modern Warfare.

My favorite missions were not surprisingly All Ghillied Up and One Shot One kill. I literally played those levels hundreds of times, and over and over again on on-line mode.

I hope MW2 has a level similar to that. If not, i'll be big time dissapointed.

P.S. has anyone ever researched the real-life town of Pripyat? (Where All Ghillied up takes place). Pretty freaky.

Yeah Gentleman so I have my COD MW2 right now ! Went to GamesStop at Bowie Town Center and picked it up at 7:00pm. No Reservation, they released it earlier. My cousin picked his up for the PS3 and this game is AWESOME !!!!! Fucking serious. I mean I cannot wait to get home and get play it on the 360.

It never happens at mine either ! I've heard about places releasing Madden early but for like $15 extra. A friend of mine does it EVERY year. He told me earlier and I didn't believe him but when he called me while he was playing it I knew he wasn't lying. So I go to the GameStop in Beltsville and I try to pay my balance but I never put anything on it. So I cal my cousin and he told me to just try the one in Bowie. So I had nothing to lose so I called them and they said they had it. About 3 cats came in there to buy it while I was there.

Trust me though YOU WILL BE SATISFIED !!!!! See you on there because I'll be up all night. Gotta sign Ladell Betts at 3:00 am before anyone else in my Fantasy Football league does because Clinton Portis got hurt and I have him.

So I didn't go to sleep until about 3:15 this morning. I don't know which map it is there is one that map that is so small. That when you play Free-For-All people literally respawn right in fromt of you. I got 3 kills when i respawned because guys just started popping up right in front of me!

Is it like "Shipment" from COD4? God I hated that map.

How are the other maps? I'm hoping for some nice big maps.

I think the game is a bit overrated, but its good. Not the best thing since sliced cheese.

A lot of perks and things to keep Live going. I thought it was a bit too much going on, but slowly getting use to it. I started like 8-13 but now getting back to the 16-5 etc. Now time to up my ratio. I guess it has to do with getting better weapons and learning the maps.

The single player mode is short but I think it's still pretty cool. Multi-player is where it's at. I think the game kicks ass.

I went to midnight. I was still hitting buttons like I was playing Halo, annoying.

I only played multi-player.

can someone give me a 101 on multi-player?

Waht is up with the planes and helicopters flying over?

And is the map on top of the screen does it work like Halo and show you where folks are or coming from?

You can call in planes and choppers based on kill streak rewards.

Yeah that's your radar at the top left.

Another thing is you can change what kill streak rewards you get. You earn the right to unlock new killstreak rewards.

With the radar, it shows where people are based on if you hear them(aka if they shoot). Also all people will be visible if your team earns a UAV radar.




Hey Matty, is it just me or does the UAV radar/ regular radar lag behind the one in COD before. I feel like I am always 3-5 steps behind of anticipating enemy movement when I am looking at the radar. I feel like the old mod. warfare UAV updated more than just every 5 secs. Maybe the people just move faster in this version. Not too sure.
