There was a place in Baltimore I went to years ago (I was like 18 or 19 and had a good fake ID) that was fully nude and BYOB. And the women were UNREAL. The night I was there some chick that had been a Playmate of the Month was dancing. I wasn't even 20 years old, I had my own 12 pack of Milwaukee's Best... man I was in heaven. Pretty sure the place was called "Night Shift."
NIGHT SHIFT!!! Oh, the first time i fell in love.

I remember mlmdub got a perfectly brand new hat ruined there when a stripper "used it" on herself. That place was so awesome.

Damn that cut off flannel is pretty sweet, next time we do a Outdoorsman Challenge we are going to have to dress up. Maybe give the option of a bonus beer to the most ridiculously dressed outdoorsman?
Damn that cut off flannel is pretty sweet, next time we do a Outdoorsman Challenge we are going to have to dress up. By the time this picture was taken it was cold out so I had to put a shirt on under it.

We had 10 events, all of which were done after about a 2 mile hike through the woods (no trail).
1) 2 beer chug for time
2) Hatchet throw (I don't think I've ever been so good at anything as I was at this)
3) T-Hold: Hold a soft cooler with 18 beers in each hand straight out while you chug a beer that someone is holding for you. Whoever can hold it the longest wins.
4) Caber toss Our "caber" was a 10 foot log
5) Long drive - chug a beer, crush the can, and John Daly it.
6) Boulder Toss - the "boulder" probably weighed about 20lbs.
7) The Rally - a timed run through a heavily wooded dry creek bed. Chug a beer half way through.
8) Blind Mans Beer - your blindfolded in a 10' circle and you need to find and finish two beers. Best time wins
9) Log Pull - heave a log up a hill with a long rope, then pick it up and run it back to the bottom.
10) Das Boot.

I can't wait to do it again next year.

Nothing like the food at a strip club and why do they always run a special on hot dogs?
I have to plan my best friend's bachelor party in January. Any good ideas (beyond the standard bachelor party live entertainment excursions) a bachelor party in DC in the dead of winter?
I had my bachelor party in DC, and I had a pretty damn good time. My best man planned a pretty awesome trek, started on a party bus complete with keg and booze.

Since we started in Germantown, we had a good 45-60 minute ride to the first bar, so you get several in you before you even start. First stop was Island Jim's Tiki Bar over by Catholic University. Considering I had on a hawaiian shirt and a ship captain's hat that was too small, this was the perfect place to start. Then we headed over to Buffalo Billiards for cigars and beer. Next stop was to be The Reef in Adams Morgan, but the line was already down the street, so we went to the Angry Inch instead, where I got to pee out the 2nd story back door. Last stop was Nexus Gold Club before heading back to Germantown. To be honest, I don't remember much of the strip club since we got there at 1am and had been drinking since 5:30pm. We got back to Germantown at 3am, and I slept until Noon the next day.

Other ideas: Dinner at Morton's or Charlie Palmer's, a Caps/Zards game followed by a crawl in and around Chinatown (one of my favorite bars down there is Irish Channel) or a stop at ESPNZone might not be too bad. A crawl in Adams Morgan (make sure to end the night with a slice of pizza) or Georgetown/Foggy Bottom.

Re: Bachelor Party Ideas

I had to plan a bachelor party without strippers this summer, it was actually a lot more difficult than I thought it would be, it's important to cater to your audience. The group of us went out and did some paintball in the morning, we had 3 places setup for showers, rested for about an hour, met up for dinner at Texas De Brazil in Fair Oaks (awesome meat fest...) then went back and had a bit of a house party, played poker, etc.

However, sounds like you're looking more for a day out on the town. The atlas district in DC is fun. A lot of fun. I haven't been there but the H street country club is supposed to be great. Not the cheapest place in town, but where else have you seen the combination of an inside mini golf course and bar? Sticky Rice is nearby which is a great time, especially if you want sushi and/or a bucket of tater tots. At the end of the night, maybe a little Ben's Chili Bowl to soak up the sin.

I don't want to live in a world where this is.....POSSIBLE!!!

HOWEVER, you could plan a golf outing? With some....drinks.
Yes I think that could be done? A Golf Outing....with hookers, strippers and booze and the occasional dwarf.........

So I'm guessing his soon to be wife would not allow strippers? Are they still married and how hen peck is he. If its a family member sorry.

A buddy of mine got married not too long ago. We had his bachelor party in DC, but his wife-to-be said absolutely no strip clubs. Did the Adams Morgan thing, got to be around 1am...and promptly took him to Good Guys (The bouncer at Camelot wouldn't let us in because the groom and best man looked too drunk...I'm thinking they had issues already that evening because both were fine and neither slurred their speech or had a tough time standing upright). Needless to say, she wasn't too happy with us, but she still married him anyways.

If my wife told me no strippers I would not have married her. Its not about the strippers and more to do with the trust thing.

I ate there twice actually. First time i was there with my girlfriend and the food was awesome. The second time the service was abysmal, of course that's the time that i recommended it to my boss's when we were there for a conference.

How is it for a party of 20 getting drunk to already drunk guys?
How is it for a party of 20 getting drunk to already drunk guys?
I think the problem with the second time i was there that it was a group 11(two of whom were insurance agents for my company that i just met). It wasn't the atmosphere it was the food that lacked the quality that it received the first time i was there. Im assuming that it was the larger group that hurt the food quality. But if your getting drunk im sure you would have a good time anywhere.

Just simple things like people's food being under-seasoned, over cooked, etc.

Thats either a sign of poor mgr., poor staffing, or maybe the cook called in sick. If I eat at a place and the food is bad I tell my wife its a F&L which means first time there and last time. If it a second or third time and the food is not very good but had been in the past I'll give it one more chance. I will usually say some thing when asked but its not very often I'll send something back unless it has an open to view kitchen.

Surprisingly, it was his choice. He's a pretty conservative (in actions, not politics) type guy. Hes always been a bit shy about things like that. It sounds weird, but the two of them get along great, they were meant for each other. Don't worry though FD, I feel the same way you do.

Actually if my friend said he did not want a stripper I feel better about that then if he said my soon to be wife will not allow me to have any strippers at the party. Just something about trust there when the women says no strippers. My father-in-law and my father where at mine with strippers and it was kind of wierd having my father-in-law there.
honestly the best thing to do around dc is to get a keg bus, that way you have a ride everywhere that also allows you to drink, depending on what you want to do and where you live, i'd start in arlington bar hop in that area, then make your way to dc, that way you get drunk on the cheaper drinks in va, before heading to gtown, but i'd def go to gtown over anywhere else during that time of year
alright guys, i have a bachelor party to plan. it will go down at end of julyish. 8-10 guys. there is a beach we can camp on near the groom's place, i think i might plan to end the night out there after a half day fishing charter or a considerable pub crawl. my thought is, i can buy some tents, build a big ass fire, and finish the drinking where everyone have some room to do stupid shit, throw up in peace etc. any thoughts?

Which beach? If it's Ocean City, I've got a hook up or 2 that could help you guys out.

I've never been, but one of these days, I'm going to go on a fishing charter, so that sounds like good times.

End of July/Beginning of August is not only hot but damn humid, so camping might not be the best idea after a night of drinking. Unless you guys can hack it, at which case, by all means. Golf is a good suggestion, but I'd play early in the morning before it gets too hot. I played Beach Club in 90 degree heat/90+% humidity and it was not fun.

the beach is carolina beach, just south of wilmington, nc. wish i could use the ocean city hook up, appreciate the offer. we all went to school in wilmington (at the beach), so the heat is no biggie.

deep sea charters are awesome, but kinda pricey.

golf might be good too. thanks.

Re: Bachelor Party Ideas

Gotcha. If you can't do a deep sea charter, kayaks or other boat rentals could be an option. Even a pontoon boat with a cooler/keg and a grill would be an awesome day, do some fishing, some swimming, etc.

Golf is a good option if everyone is up for playing.

So one of the options im looking at is Myrtle Beach, because i got a free place to stay plus i can load up on fireworks for the wedding day and the 4th of July. Ive never been deep sea fishing, but thats something the bachelor wants to do. If we go to Myrtle and go way out off shore is it gonna be cold as hell in late March? Is the fishing any good around that time of year? Any recommendations on fishing guides, bars, strip clubs and hookers/coke dealers in Myrtle? Anything else besides golf to do in Myrtle thats not family fun?

Hog1 02-02-2011 09:01 PM

Re: Bachelor Party Ideas

I recommend copious amounts of the following items:
....Alcohol
....Strippers
....Bail money
Nix the fishing...to cold.
Perhaps a nice Snipe hunt....with alcohol...strippers. You get the idea!

I am planning one for a friend of mine in Aug. Everyone in attendance likes to golf so I wanted to do something around that. I got this crazy idea to have hot model's caddie for us so I started to look into it. The only 2 places that I found that did such things were Vegas and Jersey. Since I want to stay on the east coast I got in touch with THE_GREEN_GIRLS_GOLF and the owner has made all of the reservations in Atlantic City for us. Now we are going to do more than just golf but it is a hell of a way to kick it off.
