Re: sausage vs. bacon
Got to go with sausage. Sausage is versatile, you can have it for dinner by making it into sausage patties. A little hot peppers and brown mustard there is nothing like it!

French Toast > Waffles > Pancakes
There is a place in Rehoboth called Royal Treat. They open from 8am - 11:30am for breakfast, close then reopen at 1pm until close as an Ice Cream Parlor. As a young lad, this is the first place I had french toast, and absolutely fell in love with it. Powdered sugar, whipped butter and a little bit of syrup. Then they offered to make it with Italian bread, and it was that much better. At least once a summer, I head back for probably the best breakfast on the Eastern Shore. Never been a big fan of pancakes, so I'll take waffles over pancakes. |
