Re: Week 14 NFL action
Well Dallas is really holding SD down, I am shocked.

Re: Week 14 NFL action
What happened to Demarcus Ware?
|
Re: Week 14 NFL action
Carted off with a neck injury, but he was moving his hands and feet
|
Re: Week 14 NFL action
SD going for a FG to go up 10 points with 2+ minutes to go. Great day with our blowout of Oakland (yeah I'll call it that!) and Dallas losing

I saw the cart deal, but not sure of the cause |
Re: Week 14 NFL action
Gotcha, I didn't see the actual hit either.
On a side note, Does Romo's last TD count as garbage time points? |
Re: Week 14 NFL action
Man, this guy Gano has a leg on him. On a side note, I want more sacks for Orakpo.

On a side note, Does Romo's last TD count as garbage time points?
I'd say no. The game was over when they scored, yeah, but the Chargers were trying to prevent the TD the whole way. Obviously, some of the yardage should be discounted. |
Huge win for the Dolphins today, just as big a loss for the Jaguars
Texans, Titans, Jets, and Steelers all back in it. Jaguars, honestly, probably out of it. IND and NE the next two weeks.
Dolphins now the favorite, of course, with a very close second from the Ravens. |
any update on ware?
Here is the only one i found: DeMarcus Ware carted off field in Dallas | ProFootballTalk.com
DeMarcus Ware carted off field in Dallas Posted by Michael David Smith on December 13, 2009 6:38 PM ET Dallas Cowboys linebacker DeMarcus Ware was taken off the field on a stretcher after suffering what appeared to be a head or neck injury in the fourth quarter of today's game against the Chargers. Ware was conscious, talking to teammates and giving a thumbs up sign as he was carted off the field. The injury took place while Ware was rushing Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers. As he charged into the San Diego backfield, Ware had a head-on collision with Chargers offensive tackle Brandyn Dombrowski. Players on both teams were visibly shaken at seeing Ware down for several minutes. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was shown in his box covering his face with his hands. UPDATE: Nancy Gay of FanHouse reports that Ware's initial diagnosis is a sprained neck, that he has feeling and full strength in his extremities and that he is alert. Ware is headed to an area hospital for tests.
|
Re: Week 14 NFL action
Strained neck, not a serious injury. No timetable for return from the Cowboys yet.

Re: Week 14 NFL action
Amazing runback by Desean Jackson. 24-10 Eagles

I think that was the sickest runback I've ever seen. |

Agreed. His burst up the sideline was unbelievable. That was as fast as I've ever seen anyone on an NFL field. He's a player. Great to see Dallas doing what they do in December. 0-2. Love it. And it won't get any easier when they go to New Orleans next week. Where oh where is Sandtrapjack?? Exactly. I can't wait to blast that fairweather Cowgirl next time he comes around here. |
Anyone know what the record for tossing INT's is? Doe's Cutler have a chance?
George Blanda for Houston in 1962, threw 42! No chance for Cutler, but he'll definitely end up with the most this year. He's at an embarrassing 22 right now. Speaking of INT records, Sammy Baugh shares the all-time record for most defensive INTs in a game with 4. :woot: |
Re: Week 14 NFL action
Way to go Norvell!! Nice win by the bolts. Damn, Norv is coaching em up. Say what you want about Norv, but give him some tools and he's a great o coordinator. Seems like he's changed over the last couple of years. He's got that crazy, wtf vibe going on. Hope they do some damage in the playoffs this year. B/n them and Indi, right?
Yes, that return by Jackson was amazing. |

Re: Week 14 NFL action
Wow I went fishing last night and got home in time to clean the fish and watch the second half of MNF. I think maybe they put some of that fish slime on the football everytime they gave it to the Cards.
