You don't have to get upset about it haha And I take it you've followed my life and posts to know how knowledgeable about football that I am? This coming after that statement of yours? |
didn't matty do this one recently?
If so, let's change the subject: Who can tell me how to do a brake job on a '64 Buick Skylark? |
Re: I would love to see Haynesworth traded for Ryan Clady
Its funny if all of the posters are "Knowledgeable" why do I see opposite views from the posters as far as the comparable worth of these two players. If you were Knowlegeable about about football injuries and positions I wouldn't be worried about Cladys long term ability. Thx for the couple constructive grownup responses though.
Do you understand why this thread is not worthy of "grownup responses"? Has Denver indicated they would be willing to trade Clady for any price? I mean, lets just propose trades: Would you trade McNabb for Adrian Peterson? Would you trade Cooley for Ron Brown? Would you trade Orakpo for Chris Johnson? All are about as likely as a Haynesworth/Clady swap, none deserve any intelligent analysis, and all should be ridiculed if someone opened a thread to say "Hey what if... would you do it?" Seriously. If you want intelligent responses, pose intelligent questions. |
Re: I would love to see Haynesworth traded for Ryan Clady
Been reading this site about two years before I ever signed up. Yeah I've seen some of your post. Some decent post and replies but honestly quite abit of hot air. Not offended just telling you the truthful.

Swedish pancakes? never heard of it. |
Re: I would love to see Haynesworth traded for Ryan Clady
How about instead of 500 posts to start a thread a basic football literacy test? I think threads like these tend to provoke so much anger because your average poster here, having spent like literally thousands of hours watching and reading about the game of football, really resents having to tutor some 12 year old, who just finished his first franchise mode in Madden and wants to bring some of his more successful ideas to the internet, on what football is like in the reality-based world. What the OP has demonstrated here is basic football illiteracy. Anyone who needs to have why this trade could never happen explained to him shouldn't be allowed to use this site, or even a computer for that matter.

Well obviously in 2 years nothing you had to say was worth it either, right? You would've stopped coming here if you were above us. It's one thing to disagree and say that we should get a guy who JUST had a tendon injury without knowing anything about his recovery, it's another to just insult the base of the site. I highly doubt that you recall my posts that much. There are so many good posters here I rarely feel the need to add anything very in-depth. If you'd like to produce some tangible results I'll be here for a bit before bed. ;) |

convert to disc!
Thanks tryfuhl, but me thinks NAPA may have an adequate repair manual. I'm still trying to figure out where the thingamajig goes and if the 3/8" drive will impact the caliper hydraulics as it relates to the final drive gear ratio after the convertable top deploys before the wheel bearings burn out...thoughts? |

Silverback's own Swedish pancake. Just like mom used to make it. |
Re: I would love to see Haynesworth traded for Ryan Clady
Supposedly he can make one hell of a Swedish pancake. Just sayin'......
HOW TO MAKE SILVERBACK SWEDISH PANCAKES Griddle Cakes: Stir, don't beat the hell out of, griddle-cake silverback batter, and you needn't grease the griddle if the batter contains two or more tablespoons of shortening per cup of liquid (try saying that after a couple of 'Grilla Margaritas). Turn griddle cakes when they're peppered with tiny holes, no sooner (just later), and turn them just once (or more if'n you like). Drops of cold water "dance" on a hot-enough griddle like silverbacks dance on D-linemen in September. 3 cup milk 1 1/2 cups flour 3 tbsps. shortening, melted 3 eggs 2 tbsps. sugar 1 tsp. salt 1 qt. Godzilla Juice (aka Crown Royal) Sift flour, measure, add baking powder, salt and sugar, step outside for a smoke. Combine egg, milk and melted shortening. Pour into flour mixture and mix just enough to moisten dry ingredients. Do not beat (let silverback handle this step). Drop by spoonfuls on a hot griddle and get jiggy wid it. Variation: Spread each cake, when baked, with jelly or jam. Roll as for jelly roll; sprinkle with confectioners' sugar and kiss my gorilla ass. Time, Temp and Yield: 8 large cakes |
What on earth makes you think they are going to blow up at each other?
There has been only one thing, a "voluntary" work out. If all the players show up then great. If they don't who cares? Shanahan knew he could not force AH to be here. AH opted to excersize his right to not be here. Shanahan is cool with it, he even went so far as to say AH promises to come into manditory camp in excellent shape. Now if AH fails to do what he said he'd do then trade him.
This thread title is a typical example of the trade Haynesworth obsession I've been talking about for weeks. There will probably be more in the coming weeks. |
Re: I would love to see Haynesworth traded for Ryan Clady
I'd rather try to trade him for a first round pick in 2011, and get one of the top QB's, WR's, and RB's in the draft and really transform our offense.
|
Re: I would love to see Haynesworth traded for Ryan Clady
didn't he just have knee surgery too? no...I don't think this would be a fair trade...in fact...if you tried to make this trade in Madden...it would ask you...are you insane?

Re: I would love to see Haynesworth traded for Ryan Clady
Directions for making crepes:
1.In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and the eggs. Gradually add in the milk and water, stirring to combine. Add the salt and butter; beat until smooth. 2.Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each crepe. Tilt the pan with a circular motion so that the batter coats the surface evenly. 3.Cook the crepe for about 2 minutes, until the bottom is light brown. Loosen with a spatula, turn and cook the other side. Serve hot immediately after Clady for Haynesworth trade.
Thanks for the recipe!! Crepes for desert tonight. Back to the thread topic. I will give my short answer. No. BTW noob posters. You will get destroyed on the WP for coming up with some really dumb threads. This isn't ES where people make 50-100 threads a day. I have started a dumb thread or 2 in the past and will not make the mistake again. LOL... even had one locked after 2 response. Think before you start one. This is one of the worst and dumbest I have seen. Don't start threads on random ideas that pop in your head or you will be crucified. |
