Re: Training camp 2011 thread
I disagree. I think the bulk of the 980 crew are very good. Also, I've been listening to 980 for the past 90 minutes while in the gym, and they've spent less than 10 total minutes on AH.
I must have terrible luck then. I just think the news of him is irrelevant at this point, with so much going on with the team. |
I just saw a pic that Royster's wearing 25, which is Barnes number. Did Barnes change his number?
with 90 players allowed in camp, there is going to be some duplication in numbers. this is how it is every year. final numbers arent decided until the regular season. |

Yeah, I remember a couple of 76s last preseason. D-Hall wears #2 in camp too. |

Bryant and Kerrigan were also a bit gimpy. I'm sure we'll see a lot of this as players get into football shape. I'm sure you can work out all you want, but it may not be as different as doing OTAs and mini camps. |

Re: Training camp 2011 thread
Actual pictures of football activity! Woo hoo! Feels so good to be opening a training camp with no issues hanging over everyone's heads. I'm def. going to have to make my way to training camp at some point, I'm so amped.
Offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan said bringing in competition for Anthony Armstrong was a priority in free agency. Shanahan certainly added depth at receiver. While no big names have been acquired yet, the 'Skins retained Santana Moss, traded for Jabar Gaffney and signed Donte' Stallworth. Armstrong is no longer a lock for extensive snaps. He'll have to earn them in camp. Source: Washington Times Jul 29, 3:01 PM
|
Re: Training camp 2011 thread
You're not the first to predict that.
Torain and Helu are going to be a great combo...and competition in camp. Lets not forget how explosive Torain was last season with a bad line. Of course, he needs to stay healthy. Keiland Williams and Royster should be contributors too. Our RBs are the best I can remember for a long time. Also, saw an Armstrong interview on Comcast SportsNet this morning saying he's taking the WR additions personally and is going to work even harder. Great attitude with this kid. |

Kinda what I've been saying with AA. I could see him getting beat out or bumped down the depth chart. |

Nice to see him actually walking without being injured for once. Stay healthy man, I really don't want to think 2 out of our 3 second rounders from 08 were busts. |

I hope it's not anything serious that'll hold him back this season, or worse yet, end up being a major problem that costs him this season too. Achilles' injuries aren't known for being quick to heal. |

Mike sellers is 36. I'm wondering what the point of the move was... Why convert him? Just cut him. |
