I work on a secure site so I had to R E D A C T E D and once that was done I could help stage and light the shot and be on hand for JPL's Marina Brozovic to do her thing with the CNN Anchor. We both know how simple Skype is, I hope no one was thinking I wanted you to be in awe of my mad Skype skillz.....<rolls_eyes> Toughest part of my day was getting up at 2:30am in the freezing cold to drive for an hour and a half to the site. |
Re: What did you do at work today?
Today I read the Warpath, posted on the Warpath. Did some drudgery that is my work, then read the Warpath, posted on the Warpath. Got pizza at lunch, then read the Warpath, and posted on the Warpath. Marked some boxes, moved 'em around, read the Warpath, and posted on the Warpath. Did some scheduling, read the Warpath, and posted on the Warpath.
Not really sure I posted each time I read, but y'all understand what I mean. |
Re: What did you do at work today?
ive been mia most of this week.
mon - left early for a job interview tues - drove my lady to hospital in DC to see her dying great grandma wed- went to hosp in balt to get our 2nd sonogram, its a girl, spent rest of day buying various pink things and registering today - decided to get in early bc im leaving early again tomorrow for another job interview. admirably spent most of the day doing actual work writing complaints and fielding phonecalls, past 30 mins or so reading and utilizing the warpath . .mooby posted some really funny stuff on super happy fun thread. currently sitting in my office typing this ready to click over to some word docs if i hear anyone walking down the hall. the "not so good speaking english" secretary is sitting at her desk outside making the occassional "oww" noise like she just deleted something she didnt mean to . . .literally as i was typing that she did a long "ohhhhhhhhh". the longest one of the day. probably deleted everything she has been doing for the past 3 hours. edit - yall probably think im some kind of ahole. her great grandma isnt dying, she is doing much better and might be released tomorrow. double edit - now hear my bosses voice, hes on the loose. maria is making more oww sounds |

Haha you're not the only one. I deal with a lot of winos, naturally, and most of them say the same thing. "Boy I wish I had your job so I could sit there and drink all day." |
Re: What did you do at work today?
Ah, Newcastle Brown, probably the most skunked beer in the world next to Heineken.

Yesterday: 18 hours of reviewing Experts' reports and preparing depositions of the same.
Today: 10 hours of taking said depositions. [Money Shot: Getting the opponent's expert to say that "The local judges are biased and just don't understand the issues." ... a comment that may resurface on cross-examination at trial] Tonight: Suffering from complete brain mush. Tomorrow: Getting up at 5:30 a.m. to run wife's farmer's market stand. Someone shoot me. |

We get ours on Thursday. |
Any of you guys get free turkeys from work?

Re: What did you do at work today?
I had an interview today for an open position as a stock clerk in the parts department at a dealership my friend works for. I'll be starting in a couple weeks after Thanksgiving.

Are these actual exercises where mgmt is concerned for some reason and wants to figure out what reallys IS wrong or are these exercises just meant to help make sure content is constantly being reviewed and freshened? Like Scud said...M&M is ESPN's worst piece of major content by a long shot. Most everything else seems pretty solid to awesome. But M&M are dreck... |
Re: What did you do at work today?

Like Scud said...M&M is ESPN's worst piece of major content by a long shot. Most everything else seems pretty solid to awesome. So these particulary exercises I'm working on are (hypotethically) if in 3 years we made Mike and Mike an interactive experience on your Wii, what would work what wouldn't how much incremental revenue could we generate etc. So it's more like what could be wrong |

Except by "Punchout" I mean you get to interactively punch him. |

I'm starting to have "buyers remorse" Like, did I make the right decision? Anyway, big today as I wrap things up. Setting the budget for next year |
Re: What did you do at work today?
This week at work I am reading the entire collection of the Walking Dead. Such a busy week.
AND when I am not reading I will be catching up on shows on Hulu. My work buddy just asked me if I wanted anything from Red Box this morning, that is how slow it is right now! LOL! |

Anyway, big today as I wrap things up. Setting the budget for next year
Perfectly normal to think that way with any big life decision. Good luck! |

I'm probably not being fair. I haven't found him to be the most cordial person, but maybe he's just a quiet person. |

I get that vibe from him(greenie) that he doesn't seem like a outgoing person, which is ironic considering his job deals with the public on a huge level. Golic on the other hand seems like a very outgoing person who you could strike up a conversation with anywhere. |

Re: What did you do at work today?
Took the day off since my co-worker took off 3 days last week, (we get 2 for holidays) leaving me solo the whole 3 days we had to work. I decided to stick him with rolling solo for today which I know is going to be busy. Jokes on him. :)

Re: What did you do at work today?
It's a no motivation Monday around my parts. Everyone is having a tough time coming off that holiday hangover.
