Re: Around the NFL Week 11
Tebow is good at making reads, imo. His accuracy is his problem. Not his heart or brain.

Re: Around the NFL Week 11
I called it!

Re: Around the NFL Week 11
U cant teach HEART AND WILL and TT has that he's not a Great QB but a winner

Re: Around the NFL Week 11
Point for point the Bronco's are the most fun team to watch in the NFL. Especially when they're at home.

Beast move by Von Miller there.

Why did we draft Kerrigan instead of him? Fire Shanahan! |
Re: Around the NFL Week 11
Ermm Mike, they have no timeouts.
|
Re: Around the NFL Week 11
Joe McKnight = JET KILLER. Should've went out of bounds instead of fighting for more yardage.

Tebow and Den are 4-1 wow

We should've traded up and gave up our entire draft for him!!!!! :laughing2 |
Good job by Tebow and kudos to Fox for adjusting his scheme to fit his QB. Although, if TT doesn't learn how to throw with some accuracy, he'll always be a gimmick QB.

Is it bad that I'm rooting for Tebow to fail? He's so overhyped. And I doubt he can win games his whole career the way he is now.

Of course few QB's can handle the beating Tebow takes, but as long as it's working might as well use it. But I agree, eventually he's going to need to pass otherwise they're going to have another Detroit like game. Right now though the Bronco's match up great against defense first teams. |

If he made a misread, the drive stalls. The only thing stopping him from being a complete weapon is his accuracy. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 11
I'd take Tebow over any of the sorry QBs we have. It ain't pretty, but he's 4-1, and my gosh his teammates love him. They love going to battle with him. And he just wins. Who gives a crap about anything except winning? #tebowingrightnow
So proud to be a Gator. Go Tim, go. Love you man. |

Re: Around the NFL Week 11
Tebow is impossible to stop in that five minute situation. It's kind of like playing Aaron Rodgers in that five receiver spread. You can try whatever you can to take away Rodgers' throwing windows, unfortunately he's also a great runner.
You can try to force Tebow to run between the tackles for three yards, but that opens up a gaping seam in the middle of the field to pass into. It's like Mike Vick learning how to throw the touch pass. There's just not enough players on the field to defense it. You can beat the Broncos easily still: score 30 points. Then Tebow will be beaten by the clock. But if you're not going to score on the Broncos, you're not going to beat them. Tebow just does it backwards, which is something the world is just going to have to get used to. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 11
The real story is that Denver's special teams and defense are good all of a sudden, but I think that's going to get buried under the storylines centering on Tebow being a winner and the Jets being underacheivers.

For sure. Prater is money, and the pick six off Sanchez was huge. You gotta wonder, though... All of sudden their special teams and D are stepping up, right around the same time Tebow takes the reigns... Coincidence? Probably not. The "it" factor shouldn't be downplayed. But that D has some ballers. Von Miller, Elvis Dumervil, Champ Bailey, Brian Dawkins... Not exactly suckers. |

He could be making them more relaxed, more willing to work, stay focused, and giving that extra ounce of effort. I believe that Tim Tebow is truly a leader, and not just called one because he's a QB. The dude is clearly exercising a huge amount of influence on his teammates, and its showing up in their play. |
As I said before, kudos to Fox adjusting his gameplan to Tebow. If KS was running the show, he'd make Tebow pass 50 times.

Re: Around the NFL Week 11
The Jets a really not good. Especially on offense.
Sanchise nor Shonn Green have been able to take the next step out of mediocrity, hell Sanchise looks to be below average. He makes some really bad decisions on the field. Plaxico Buress has done nothing to improve that team. One thing they do have is a great Oline, probably top 5 in the game. I know we all talk about it here, but a great Oline can do only some much for a team, you still need a smart, I mean very intelligent QB with a good arm or a system where an average QB can excel. |

He will get better the more he plays because he is driven to to be the best he can be. When he has the ball in his hands he makes things happen. |

Re: Around the NFL Week 11
Tim Tebow is garbage and will be gone after the season. I'd rather have Rex than Tebow. Like most of you hatters up here said, they are winning in spite of him, not because of him. Defense, special teams are carrying the load.
As for Sanchez, aren't you glad Vinny didn't pull off that trade to go up and grab him? I'm sure as hell am. Also, I notice that Sanchez balls his ass off in the playoffs, but seems to be garbage during the regular season. WTF is up with that? |

Because the Jets allowed them to hang around with their own shitty QB play. Why do fans always treasure somebody else trash? |

eh? I'm not even a big Tebow fan, but I thought he lead a hell of a drive there at the end and regardless of whether the Jets let them hang around or not, he got the job done when the game was on the line. Just giving credit where it's due. |

The one thing I love about Tebow is his heart and desire. It's a shame that many player don't play with the type of intensity he does, or be willing to do whatever it takes to help out the team. In that respect, guy is a gem. I personally think he'd do well at the TE position aka...cooley. oh, that comment wasn't directly towards you. It was to the people saying they'd rather have Tebow than Rex/Beck. |

Knowingly or unknowingly, John Fox has adjusted his entire scheme to fit Tim Tebow. This has led to a situation where the offense plays good enough to win games given the resurgence of their defense and special teams. So far this situation has worked as the team is 4-1 under Tebow. A lot of people here probably wish something like this would happen to our team. Using Joe Gibbs' favorite line during his second stint, Denver played their guts out. And while they may not make the playoff, is pretty refreshing to see them play like that. People may be overreacting to Tebow. As I said earlier, if he doesn't learn to pass accurately he's going to be a gimmick QB and will not win many games that way. But right now he's doing enough to get Denver some Ws, and that's a hell of a lot better than what our team is doing. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 11
I follow the Jets probably as much as any team not name the Redskins. And I think Sanchez can play. I'd rather have him over the guys we have. He's made a couple of brutal mistakes the last two weeks, to be sure. And I think there are times when, for whatever reason, he plays nervous.
I mean Sanchez nearly led a comeback yesterday with under a minute to play, including converting a big 4th down. If Joe McKnight (who's fumbled twice in the past two weeks) runs out of bounds there could have been a very different ending. |

With the game on the line he went 95 yards to win it. Gotta give him credit there. But other then that he sucked. Denver's defense kept them in that game cause Tebow and co kept putting them back out on the field. This Tebow stuff isn't going to last too much longer. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 11
I don't know where Denver goes with the Tebow thing after this year, long term you can't build a team around a college offense, but for now it's working. Give them credit for using what they've got to win games.

Denver probably didn't have 200 yards of offense. Not going to keep winning games with that type of production. But that last drive was awesome. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 11
Tim Tebow isnt good, he just wins because every one he plays sucks?
Keep telling yourself that.......... He's got more talent in his jock strap than Grossman and Beck Combined. |

Tebow would be an excellent H-back. As good as his final drive was last night, it just shows that he is not going to be a bonafide NFL QB if he can't pass with some accuracy. |
