Seems like Peyton Manning threw a nice ball to Randy Moss. Oh wait....;)

You just know Scud just came. Two Gators just made a sexy play. ;)

MAN! Defense is flying around today.

That being said, why is it we have trouble with backups?

How does Gaffney and Stallworth not make this team next year. At least Gaffney has earned his starting spot next season. Dude is balling

DynamiteRave 12-24-2011 03:10 PM

Doughty is such a piss poor tackler.

Ugh. I am overall pleased with our effort today, but we consistently shit the bed against backups. "Career long run". "Longest run of the year for the Vikings." :-P

Geez, the Vikes are playing like the Broncos in so many ways...

Re: Redskins vs Vikings gameday thread

That was the ugliest, easiest completion I've ever seen. That was like a goddamn punt.

Re: Redskins vs Vikings gameday thread

Lol, nobody wants to win this game. Longwell choked on an extra point. :laughing2

skinsfaninok 12-24-2011 03:12 PM

Joe Webb is pretty good IMO

Re: Redskins vs Vikings gameday thread

I mean overall, I'm still happy with the effort, which is insane. Like I still feel like we'll win it, but you cannot let pieces of garbage like Joe Webb eat you up.

mooby 12-24-2011 03:14 PM

Wow. We still can't defend the option.

I don't know what it is about Royster, but what was the actual knock on him coming out of college? He runs hard, looks like he has decent speed.

We are set at RB, Torain is done after this season.

skinsfaninok 12-24-2011 03:19 PM

I predicted Jabar to lead us in TDs this year :)

The deal with Joe Webb is that he's a dual threat. Pretty much he a Tebow with better accuracy and some other things.

Is Grossman going to break his streak of interceptions?

DynamiteRave 12-24-2011 03:26 PM

Uh oh. What happens if Ganos hurt? Who kicks??

This defense is reeling now. Talk about a 2nd half breakdown.

Re: Redskins vs Vikings gameday thread

Redskins have problems with scrambling type QB's, Vick, Newton, Ponder and now Webb, that needs to be fixed next season.

SirClintonPortis 12-24-2011 03:34 PM

Re: Redskins vs Vikings gameday thread

Joe Webb is playing like a polymerization of Tebow and Roethlisberger.

mooby 12-24-2011 03:34 PM

****in Joe Webb.

DynamiteRave 12-24-2011 03:41 PM

F Grossman.

F Gerhart too.

Huh. I thought he played with the boys at some point. Guess not.

[quote=DynamiteRave;870043]F Gerhart too. He used to run us over when he played with the Cowboys. This blows.

He never played for the cowboys.

So a shitty holding call leads to an interception?

Only this team.

mooby 12-24-2011 03:43 PM

That pick sums up our season. A false glimpse of hope before things go bad.

Do we only get treated to an overall effort from this team maybe once a year if we're lucky?

Re: Redskins vs Vikings gameday thread

Hmm, Kleinsasser wore a Joey T jersey as a kid. I wonder if he is a Skins fan.

DynamiteRave 12-24-2011 03:51 PM

You know even if we score, we only recover an onside kick about once every 10 years.

You would think we're about due then. When was the last time we recovered one?

Last I could find was 2008 but I'm unsure if there's been any since.

Very entertaining game lol of course Rex throws a pick late in the game, hmm who would have thought ?

I read some WP article recently about the percentage of Skins fumble recoveries and they are like 20% in recovering opposing fumbles. WTF?!

Most teams are somewhere around the 50% range. I've never seen a team with the "luck factor" be against them like it is against the Skins. Two fumbles today and both out of bounds. One fumble by Rex, recovered easily be the Vikings.

Re: Redskins vs Vikings gameday thread

D let down when AP and Ponder went down. But again, it's all about Rexy: 2 big TOs, and that's the game. Plus, we didn't get any TOs back. Biggest stat in football.

Liked Royster! Tough holding call there on the Banks reverse. Oh, well. Look, I'm not one of those "it's better to lose" guys, but at least the "Rex isn't so bad" talk will go away. And we do pick up position in the draft (silver lining, it's all I've got left!).

How much did losing to the Yikes help us in the draft?

skinsfaninok 12-24-2011 04:29 PM

We will
Still get a top 7 pick
