I like the Best Buy over by my place. Really helpful when i bought my macbook pro and when i was deciding on a good pair of headphones. I've bought and returned a lot of stuff too and it all went smoothly.

Video geeks have tested hdmi cables across the board. A monster cable vs. a generic one (bought on monoprice) showed absolutely no visual difference in quality when watching blu-rays. You can search through forums like [URL="http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/"]AVS[/URL] for confirmation.

Why the hate? A standard monster hdmi cable may run you anywhere from 30-40 bucks. A cable from monoprice is around two. The monster markup is beyond ridiculous.

yeah, they can see each other's inventories, but you can't be at the springfield BB and reserve something in stock at the tyson's one. I ran into that problem years ago and was told it was a franchise store and they had different owners. fwiw.

HDMI is digital.. there's either a signal or there's not

I prefer HH Gregg, Newegg and Crutchfield.

Only things I remember ever buying from Best Buy were a prepaid phone and a TV stand.
