So it will be a majority ownership transaction. And Holmgren might be out the door with Banner/Cowher coming in. We shall see

Mike Wallace must be going apeshit right now. He's going to take it as if it's a slap to his face.

I wouldn't, he can only run one route. Garcon can do it all and it's y Pitt hasn't paid him yet because they know too

What ****ing idiots. After one good season you hand that kind of contract to a WR, meanwhile you have a guy who's done more for the past 3 seasons and you shit on him? I'd be requesting a trade right about now if I were Wallace and would sit out the year if I had to.

Another thing, why are they giving this type of contract to Brown when they are supposedly going back to the run first offense?

Is Antonio Brown's contract similar to Garçon's? How do they compare overall? Some think the Skins overpaid for Garçon.

We won't know for a couple years whether or not the Redskins overpaid for Pierre Garcon. The Redskins front office felt Garcon is a young wide receiver coming off of career highs in catches and yards. They felt that since he got his first taste of that, he'll do more of that in the years to come. Signing Garcon to a multi year deal could turn out to be one of the best decisions that the Redskins front office ever made.

Re: Around the NFL...Training Camp Style

The FO Steeler's doesn't usually make a lot of mistakes.
But, this contract for Brown clearly looks like a mistake.

I guess they're gonna sign Wallace to an even bigger contract?

Wallace is one of the best deep threats in the game.
Without Wallace drawing the double coverage can Anotonio Brown even put his numbers?

The thing that is kinda crazy is 42.5 over 5 years is a nice contract for a WR, you gotta think Wallace was offered this...kinda a head scratcher he wouldnt take it. I like Wallace alot, and would like to see him in a Skins uniform, but not over a 42 million dollar contract.

Now that Antonio Brown has signed a 5 year $42 million deal, do you think the steelers still put him out there on Special teams returning kick offs and punts?

I wouldn't expect to see Mike Wallace in our uni due to the money we have in our current wr and the cap penalties

I'm really hoping dropping four picks for one player turns out to be the best move the front office made... Otherwise there is going to be some egg on some faces.

We dropped 3 picks. 2 firsts and a second.

That 4th pick you speak of was Robert Griffin.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the move to get RGIII, but I'm hoping it is ultimately a better move by the FO than Garçon. Just due to the sheer cost to get him.

RG3 will succeed. He will prove that he was worth what the Redskins gave up in order to get him. They took Heath Shuler in the first round. They took Patrick Ramsey in the first round. They took Jason Campbell in the first round. Then they traded a 2nd round pick to the Eagles to get McNabb. All of that combined is what they gave up to get Robert Griffin III.

It's frustrating to hear, by now this shouldn't be repeated so much. Nothing against the man/woman who posted it but it kills me how often you hear it and read it.

I loved the pace of the Panther's practice.
In the short time they were on Cam threw a ton of passes.
Very, quick pace with a high volume of passes thrown in a short time.

Plus...
Williams started every game for the Crimson Tide last season. He had 24 tackles, four tackles for loss, three quarterback hurries and a pass breakup.

I actually like what the Browns are doing.

Trent Richardson will be a beast, They have a good OL that will get better, a young defense that can get the job done. It all rests on Brandon Weeden but I could see them winning 7 games this year and surprising either Baltimore or Pittsburgh.
